Late summer is festival time in the Poconos

Speaking of the Poconos, even if you're not a race fan, there are plenty of reasons to speed on up to them mountains. I can name at least 10 -- all of them festivals. I don't know why, but the folks in the Poconos seem to think it's not a weekend unless there's a festival. Here's a sampling: Pocono State Crafts Festival (Aug. 23-24) Pocono Garlic Festival (Aug. 30-31) COTA Jazz and Arts Festival (Sept. 5-7) Pike County Fair
