Why do you travel?

With summer vacation around the corner, it's a good time to think about why we travel. Despite the checkpoints, the extra fees, the late arrivals, the traffic, the cost of gas and so many other hassles, the need to get up and go remains strong.

I think it's all about connecting. Travel makes me feel connected to family, to friends - to the world. One thread in a fabric of billions. This beautiful photo essay kinda captures the feeling. It makes me want to hit the road. Summer can't come soon enough.

So, tell me, why do you travel?
