Passengers high on BWI

Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport ranked fourth-highest in overall passenger satisfaction among medium-size airports, according to a study released today by J.D. Power and Associates. Chicago Midway scored at the top of this category, followed by LaGuardia and Memphis. For large airports, Philadelphia was ranked No.1. The survey looked at several factors, including baggage claim, check-in, terminal facilities, food and security.

Among airlines, only Continental and JetBlue scored "among the best" in customer satisfaction. Delta was considered "better than most," while Southwest was viewed as only "about average."

Overall, the study found customer satisfaction was declining. Yeah, no kidding.
