Megabus offers free ride from Baltimore to NYC

Megabus, which begins Baltimore to New York service later this week, is offering free tickets for every seat booked between May 30 and June 5. You'll still have to pay the booking fee -- which is like 50 cents each way -- a total of $1. Go to megabus.com soon because when I checked just now, the first day (May 30) was already sold out.

What is it with the freebies? Free hotel rooms, now a free bus ride. I'm not knockin' free stuff, man, I'm just sayin free is usually something nobody else wants. That's not the case here. I want to skip I-95 and the gas station for a free trip aboard an air-conditioned vehicle being driven by a professional. I want to stay in a brand new hotel room in a cool resort in Atlantic City. I also want world peace and prosperity -- can I get that free?

It's 5:27 p.m., and all outbound or return seats are sold out until Monday!
