WWE star Sin Cara suspended for Wellness Policy violation
Sin Cara has been suspended 30 days for violating WWE's Wellness Policy, the company announced on its website.
Well, that explains why there was an injury angle with Cara at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view Sunday night. During the Smackdown MITB Ladder Match, the Mexican star was taken out on a stretcher after being powerbombed onto a ladder by Sheamus.
Cara's suspension has to be a great disappointment to WWE management, which has been grooming him to be a top star.

I don't think I'm going out on a limb here to say that Vince whiffed on this one...

Kevin,
According to the wellness policy isn't a wrestler warned after their first violation and then suspended 30 days after their second violation? If that is accurate that would mean Cara has messed up twice. Not good for someone that hasn't been around that long in the WWE.
RESPONSE FROM KE: It's my understanding that there is a 30-day suspension for the first violation.

Triple H is batting 0.00 with his personal talent projects in Kharma and Sin Cara isn't he?

Am I the only one happy that we'll get a break from his weird lighting and constant Rey Rey like David & Goliath victories?

Can't blame HHH for Kharma. A pregnancy might be inconvenient to the company, but it doesn't make them look as bad as a steroids suspension.

Didn't WWE also lose the rights to his name? That may really be why he's out...until they can resolve that issue.

@that guy
Can't really blame him for Kharma, unless, you know, he's the dad. Sheamus is also turning out much better than he seemed at first. Sin Cara is really the only glaring failure so far, and I really didn't expect him to be this dismal.

I did not see the PPV, but I heard that the powerbomb onto the ladder by Sheamus was pretty stiff. Sheamus is HHH's buddy; Sin Cara is HHH's project. You think he was sending a "message"?

You can't blame HHH for a druggie, and a woman's right to be a mother. Those are their choices.

it is however nice to see that WWE will suspend anyone at any time for wellness violations. they're obviously pushing sin cara through the roof so this can't have been an easy decision.

Maybe when he comes back he'll be "Sin Steroids" (Drum shot!)

Reports are surfacing that he tested positive for anabolic steroids. Combine that with his constant botching of moves and not being able to speak much English, WWE may have no other option other than releasing him.

Wonder how long that stuff stays in your system.
What I mean is, could he have stopped using after being hired by WWE but still tested as positive?

Maybe they should just send him to FCW like they should have to begin with.

the little thing that happened on wwe tonight was such bull. i mean common , everyone knows its fake but making it this obvious isn't good for the company. everyone knows vince hired the wwe board everyone knows vince is the wwe...they could have done better with this storyline.

Somewhere, Chavo Guerrero is sitting and laughing to himself...

@Bal T'san Chin
Time wise, it's very possible. That's why Olympic sports' suspensions are generally two years in length, to make sure the drugs and their advantage clear out of one's system, as much as possible.
But,
if I recall correctly, WWE requires physicals of its talent prior to hiring them. So drugs taken before his hiring would have been detected then, and rather than a current suspension, he simply would failed his medical exam and not been hired at all.
