He keeps his peanut butter in the fridge??? What's up with that???

What, no pizza? I didn't know straight-edge went that far!!

Red bull and Pepsi this pic is greatness. I feel like I am 10.

Nice...this is really shaping up. Instead of the engine sputtering out after weakly turning over as it has for near a decade, you can feel it catch and start to rev the RPMs. If WWE can keep heads level and keep moving forward with the various positive momentums that were sparked into motion at MITB, we actually might get consistently compelling wrestling in the 21st century yet.
Next step---something new has to be done with Cena and Orton. If they can and will pull it off and can and will take some of the drastic steps that it will encompass, we're going to be flying pretty soon.
To reference a debate we all had not long ago---it's time to ignore the ratings and not look at the short-term scoreboard for a while. Just get everything up in the air, pick a destination, get on course...and THEN see how many people will start looking up.

That's hilarious. I don't even know why a championship belt would be in a refrigerator, but the randomness is what makes it so great.
I wonder if this is going to become a series of photos with Punk showing the title in various unglamorous settings to further disrespect McMahon.

Do you think any of his local stores in Illinois can fix him a new nameplate?
Posted by: Orton.1 | July 18, 2011 2:32 PM
No Jr.'s BBQ sauce? What's up with that?
Posted by: that guy | July 18, 2011 2:48 PM
That certainly looks like a couple bottles of beer in the bottom drawer to the right.
Not saying it is his, just pointing it out in general

Somebody shops at Target

That is beer in the bottom drawer. What happened to straight-edged.
RESPONSE FROM KE: Perhaps he has it for friends who drink when they come over.

Check the door...love that Punk runs on Dunkin.

Wait a minute... mr. Straight Edge drinks caffiene?

@ (Not So)DumbSmark
For some time now, WWE has been showing those visuals coming out of commercials that claim their website has more traffic than everything under the sun or some other piece of company-slanted cyber data. Perhaps Vince has found a way (beyond traditional promotional spin) to quantify this social relevance Punk seems to be spurring -- a new kind of paradigm, of sorts. (N.B. I know absolutely nothing and am merely speculating from what we're seeing.)
@ Go Fish
That's a great idea -- the possibilities are endless!

Awesome pic, lol.

Punk should get a better fridge now.
Posted by: Syed Habib Fawaz | July 18, 2011 5:02 PM
I feel like everyone is more concerned about the contents of CM Punk's fridge than the belt being in it!
Posted by: Richard | July 18, 2011 5:40 PM
Now, out of Chicago, Illinois... the WWE bottle opener! Just spin the big "W", place it on your (straight-edge) beverage, and now you have a can of your favorite drink, without all of the work!
(Wait, it doesn't spin. Well, this sure ain't going on WWEShop.com.)

STONE COLD! STONE COLD!
Have a nice day.... :)

Maybe Punk can keep taking random pics of the belt in various places just like the NHL's Stanley Cup. That way Punk can get his much discussed sabbatical and he can stay relevant and keep the storyline alive.
BTW, that could be non-alcoholic beer or maybe it's not his fridge.

looks like my fridge

@ Boomerang...
I agree...there is a new paradigm being approached here. The one thing I would speculate is that I really think a lot of this is coming from Punk and people backstage that support him.
From his GQ interview, to other news I've read, it seems like a very close line has been skirted between reality and fiction, which is why this is so great.
McMahon never had ideas like this in his life---and I think Punk is being allowed some freedom to have a say in the angle, which is fitting.
It reminds me of some of the better runs in the territory days, when wrestlers would frequently help book themselves and there was more of an atmosphere of creative freedom in a lot of places. Risks were taken, things were tried.
A lot of people are referencing Stone Cold, but I'm more reminded of Mick Foley, except Punk has had willing ears and promotional help where Foley never did. (for those thinking I'm talking about wrestling style, etc.---instead read up on Foley, who was very careful with how he built himself, and sometimes walked away from easy money in order form his career the way he wanted. Some of his story ideas were great, but he never had the chance to get over early due to resistance from some oof the companies he worked for).

Re. Vince, don't rule out senility. (Maybe his long-time hairstyle prolonged a youthful "glow," but ol' boy's looking his age these days, and has seemed a bit rusty once or twice, too.)
I don't suffer from senility -- I rather enjoy it.
See, I'm not even sure if I'm kidding???

isnt pepsi bad for you? and redbulls? I thought Punk is against substances that harm the body?
Posted by: Anonymous | July 18, 2011 9:21 PM
Those cans look like Canada Dry to me.
Posted by: loco | July 18, 2011 11:33 PM
Reminds me of Fight Club when he looks at his blown up fridge and comments, "All condiments and no food..."
Posted by: Chinlaw | July 18, 2011 11:36 PM
To bad Punk says that he does not drink. Look on the bottom right and you will find to the top of beer bottles. Nice try fakers.
Posted by: Justin | July 19, 2011 1:46 AM
if you look closely at the bottom of the fridge you will see beer bottles
Posted by: Bartman962 | July 19, 2011 3:07 AM
I wonder how much did CM Punk got for all the advertising we see in his fridge? I'd say around 200k would be worth it :D
Posted by: Gabi | July 19, 2011 4:01 PM
The "beer" in the lower right looks more like Canada Dry ginger ale's logo, at least to me.
And just in case it isn't, I don't recall any type of Straight Edge pledge from Beth Phoenix.
