Good news, bad news for injured TNA star Matt Morgan

TNA star Matt Morgan is expected to be out of action for six weeks after suffering a torn pectoral muscle two weeks ago in the four-way ladder match that aired on last Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling.

Fortunately for Morgan, the tear was minor and did not require surgery.

Still, it’s a tough break for him, as he was expected to have a major story line coming out of the Bound for Glory series, according to an industry source. It will be interesting to see if Morgan’s six-week hiatus puts an end to those plans.

Wow, that's a really tough break for Morgan, since I'm pretty sure he was to be written in to win the BFG series. Six weeks isn't a long time in the whole run of this thing (it's running though september I think), so it may allow him to stay in it with a few tag team wins with minimal involvement.

Kevin, this may be a little off topic, but what's this "change" everyone's talking about. Some sort of new blog format? I can't find a Baltimore Sun Blog with any different format than this one.

RESPONSE FROM KE: All of the Sun blogs are gradually migrating to a new system.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem if they keep him on TV. If he was to be the eventual winner of the BFG series, they just need to have the bottom guys win, maybe by countout or DQ's.

Boo to the new Sun blog system!

Maybe somehow, someway he can find a way to get points for BFG. I really do not want to see Gunner or Crimson as a champion.

Welcome Matt Morgan to the "Ken Anderson Blown Opportunity Due To Frequent Injury Club"

I have no idea as to why they put Matt Morgan in a Ladder Match to begin with ???

Matt Morgan is a Big, Tall - Guy.
They keep messing around with him and having him leave his feet , we are going to have a repeat of that vomit inducing Sid Vicious injury.

Of course this is the same promotion that has Abyss in the X-Division.

Just an absolute train wreck !!!

And why does TNA continue to have this undeniably "Cartoony" feeling ???

Crimson, Abyss, Bully Ray, Kurt Angle Tazz, The TNA Knockouts, Matt Morgan, A.J. Styles, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Rob Van Damm.

Anyone remember Glacier from WCW.
I think Glacier could do very well in TNA.

Some guy on the independent circuit should change his name to Goblin or Austin Aries and I bet you they'll get picked up by TNA right away.

Hmmm...muscle bound steroid guy....torn pectoral...........never heard of that before....
