Matt Morgan: the obvious choice.

How is it that you're missing Hulk Hogan??? He hasn't won the TNA belt and would probably put it on himself before any of those guys.

Thank you for bringing wrasslin to the Sun. I enjoy reading your material. I respect you because your not just some guy that's talking "sports entertainment". You have experience in the business and that gives you a ton of cred. BUT with that said I have a beef. Please no more pics of Fatt Hardy without warning. I was eating breakfast for goodness sake. Other than that great job and keep it up.

How about "Pass"?
Posted by: Eric Ferguson | June 30, 2011 9:41 AM
It seems a foregone conclusion that Morgan will win in a landslide.
How about a subsidiary poll---"Do you think this will ever happen?"
It seems like the Hogan/Bischoff Bund have their sights set firmly on Gunner, who as of this writing has received a total of 8 votes out of 408.
Anyway, it would be nice to see Morgan get a shot, in a world where TNA had a real creative team. Perhaps Mr. Eck should just start producing articles about what happened on the imaginary alternate universe version of Impact, where everything goes right, and we'll all start commenting on that. It would seem a lot less frustrating.

Sad that Matt Hardy has nothing better to do than vote for himself 21 times and counting.
Posted by: Rob | June 30, 2011 1:09 PM
I voted for Morgan, but Roode, Dinero, Hernandez, or Storm are all worthy of pushes to TNA title contention or wins as well. Matt Hardy? Really? Are you kidding me? If TNA really wants to be legit, they need to push their own young, homegrown guys, rather than guys who could barely cut it as mid-carders in WWE.

Without a doubt in five years Bobby Roode will be the biggest name on this list. It won't even be close. He is a better athlete and talker already then any of the jobbers on this list.

What about Christopher Daniels? I really wish he would get the push he deserves in TNA. He deserves to be world champion. He is one of the most skilled performers in the business and his matches with Samoa Joe and AJ Styles have been some of TNA's best. He has also been a part of the company since it began, although he has been away several times.

I agree with Matt Morgan being the next first time TNA World Champion. TNA should have had the guts to pull the trigger when the Jeff Hardy incident occurred. They should have removed him from the match and had Morgan face Sting with Morgan coming out with the strap. As for Bobby Roode. He is a star on the rise. His promos are the best of anyone. A future champion.
