Baltimore Sun story on TNA star Jesse Neal
Here's a link to an article I wrote for today's Sports section of The Baltimore Sun on TNA star Jesse Neal.
The story details Neal's decision to dedicate his wrestling career to his late best friend, who died in the terrorist bombing of the USS Cole in 2000.

Maybe you can explain this to me. Here TNA has a great feel good story. An actual survivor of an attack by bin Laden works for them. He comes out, in his Navy uniform, and the entire locker room breaks character, much to his surprise, and stands on the stage to salute both Jesse Neal and the troops. Yet TNA's website makes no mention of this.
I realize this is not on par with Edge's retirement that WWE posted on its website. But you think that they would put that up and show the world how unified the locker room is in support of the troops. I am just sayin...
RESPONSE FROM KE: TNA actually did post the footage on its website.

Nice story on Jesse neal in the Sun.
What's up with WFX.com wrestling? Comcast Network ran an hour on Sunday afternoon. Familiar faces included Larry
"Living Legend" Zybysko, Bushwacker Luke, Gangrel, and Billy Gunn. Zybsyko did a center of the ring promo knocking the New world Order and especially Rick Flair. He's bringing out the next 'World Champion, Human Massacre' next week to oppose supposedly Luke. Tag Team wrestling seemed to a major focus of the promotion. The'Human Massacare' wasn't shown as yet. Who could it be? Or does anybdy care?

I criticise TNA a lot, but they've done a great job with him, and kudos to the roster for their reaction.
Btw, if he's 6', then Jordan Williams is a 7 footer. ;)

Very nice article...Hopefully TNA won't push this too far to promote wrestling angles---as it would seem a bit distasteful to say the least--but Neal's story is definitely an upper on its own.
On a somewhat unrelated topic, the only thread being that Neal is a tag star at the current moment--has there ever been a Ring Posts top tag teams of all time poll or list? As it has nothing to do with TNA quality or Christian/Orton---it would just seem to be a fun thing to vote on or to merely discuss if it were just an Eck list--I mean a comprehensive poll or list--from the Samoans to the Road Warriors to the Rock and Roll Express to modern tags like the Machine Guns, Beer Money or...I guess WWE has lagged off on tag teams lately with the exception of gimmicks like JeriShow or the geriatric DX.
Who's better? The Hardy Boyz or the Midnight Express?---the Bolsheviks or Edge and Christian? The Fabulous Freebirds--were they ever good?--The Blackjacks?--The Brain Busters?--- Will we ever find out?

Jesse Neal is not 6 feet tall. I took a pic with him and Shannon Moore (Ink Inc) a few days ago. I'm 6 feet and towered over both of them. Jess is closer to Shannon's height. Wrestlers have always been billed taller than what they are. Hogan is supposed to be over 7 feet but you ever noticed he was always looking up at Andre.
As far as TNA making no mention of it, Jesse tweeted a vid of his segment that was on the TNA website. TNA hasn't ignored it and they haven't played it up.
Anyone that watches TNA knows Jesse story. He' mentioned it a few times.
Jesse is an awesome human being and a true hero.
