Top 10 WrestleMania celebrities: No. 3
DONALD TRUMP
The man responsible for the largest WrestleMania buy rate in history isn't The Hulkster, The Rock or The Rattlesnake.
It's The Donald.
WrestleMania 23 in 2007 had 1.2 million buys, thanks in large part to "The Battle of the Billionaires" challenge, in which business magnate Donald Trump and WWE chairman Vince McMahon each put their hair on the line for the match between Bobby Lashley (representing Trump) and Umaga (representing McMahon).
At one point during the match, the two billionaires actually got physical with one another outside the ring, as Trump jumped on McMahon and began pounding him in the face with his fist. In the end, Lashey prevailed, and McMahon's famous pompadour was no more.
As special referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin looked on approvingly, Trump and Lashley shaved McMahon's head bald.
I will count down the Top 10 WrestleMania celebrities every day through Sunday.

Let's not forget Trump hosted Wrestlemania IV and V and sat ringside at Wrestlemania VII when Hogan defeated Slaughter.
RESPONSE FROM KE: Yes, he did, but I didn't really take that into consideration because he wasn't talent on those shows.

Constructive criticism: Eck, we love your blog but can you please give us a preview of Wrestlemania 27 and your predictions so we can comment and give out predictions? These countdowns are nice but they are burying the upcoming WM 27.
RESPONSE FROM KE: I always post pay-per-view predictions the day of the event.

Trump's celebrity in the late 80s was emense. Having WM IV and V there added prestige to the events. I remember Sean Mooney interviewing him at WM V. Mooney was so nervous, he was stumbling through the interview. It was also funny when DiBiase shook his hand like there were rich friends, and when Heenan pointed at Trump to stand and bow before King Haku. Trump has been good for the WWE.
