WWE Elimination Chamber preview
Predictions for tonight’s WWE pay-per-view:
Smackdown Elimination Chamber Match (World heavyweight champion Edge, Wade Barrett, Kane, Drew McIntyre, Rey Mysterio): With Dolph Ziggler having been fired on Smackdown Friday night, it appears that there will only be five participants in this match. Or will it? Could there be a surprise entrant, perhaps Triple H or The Undertaker? If it’s anybody, I think it’ll be Triple H. I don’t expect to see The Undertaker until Monday night on Raw. After all, those mysterious videos have pointed to 2-21-11 not 2-20-11. Personally, I’d love to see Christian get in the match, turn on Edge and cost him the title to set up a WrestleMania match between them, but I’m not holding my breath for that one. As far as who wins tonight, I’m going with Edge to retain the championship.
Raw Elimination Chamber Match (John Cena, John Morrison, Randy Orton, CM Punk, R-Truth, Sheamus): I only see one man winning this match, and that man obviously is R-Truth. Just kidding. Look for Cena to win tonight and go on to challenge The Miz for the WWE title at WrestleMania XXVII. Even if WWE pulls a swerve and Cena does not go over in the Chamber, I’m pretty certain that something would go down between now and WrestleMania that allowed him to face The Miz at the big show on April 3.
WWE champion The Miz vs. Jerry Lawler: I’ve really enjoyed the build to this match and I expect the young champion and the WWE Hall of Famer to put on an entertaining bout. Look for Lawler to be on the verge of winning the title when Alex Riley and/or Michael Cole interfere and cost him the match.
Intercontinental champion Kofi Kingston vs. Alberto Del Rio: I believe this is a non-title match, but I’m not sure about that. Either way, Del Rio will win.
WWE tag team champions Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater: I’m getting a kick out of Marella and Kozlov as champs, but I have a hunch the fun ends tonight. It’s time for The Corre to get some gold.

I agree with all these predictions; I'm sure I'm not the only person that expects Cole will be the spoiler for Lawler, leading to a Cole/Lawler wrestlemania showdown. I think I read Cole has been "sports entertaining" in the ring once or twice lately on house shows.
And yes the Corre needs SOME reason for people to care about them as a group, and I guess tag team titles are better than nothing...

Kevin,
Aloha. When is Christian due to return? Is he already recovered from his injury?

i hope christian.
so wrestlemania will be a triple threat world heavyweight match between christian, edge, and del rio.
hopefully aim to be a match similar to hhh, michaels & beniot. years ago
but wwe is interesting right now.
undertaker
hhh
jericho (i think they will save his return for later in the year when they need it more.
it would be wise.
jericho is the best there is in the business today at working any type of fued, long or short.)

If HHH returns tonight then Sting I think is in the equation for tomorrow. It would throw some surprise into the PPV which is looking very predictible.
I see Cena/Edge/the Corre/Del Rio/ and Miz winning as well.
Sad it's that darn predictible isn't it?

I have a hunch that John Morrison could win the Raw Elimination Chamber. Not sure why, just a gut feeling.
I'm guessing Triple H or Chris Jericho as the surprise entrant. I slightly favor Jericho, due to the potential tie-in with the latest book release (which was mentioned on Raw, I believe).

Kev, i don't see Hunter as the surprise entrant. He could be, but i believe it will be Chris Jericho.

Kev,
Why is it that Miz gets to defend his title OUTSIDE the elimination chamber in a one-on-one bout, when Edge has to defend his INSIDE the elimination chamber against five others? Doesn't seem entirely fair - or logical - to me....

i'm crossing my fingers and hoping that christian will replace ziggler, win the chamber then go on to fued with del rio and edge. Then at wrestlemania, they'll have a triple threat match for the title.

I'd like to see Lawler win and then wrestle Michael Cole on Raw where if cole loses, he will never be seen on TV again. Cole sucks. Bring back JR!

I wish they would get rid of Michael Cole, he is such a p___y. Won't fight Jerry Lawler without someone in his corner, Jerry should be able to have someone in his corner too.
