Audio interview with WWE star Sheamus
Here is the audio of an interview I conducted with WWE star Sheamus backstage at 1st Mariner Arena when WWE was in Baltimore recently for a house show.
Sheamus discussed what it meant to win King of the Ring, his rapid rise from ECW to WWE champion, the role that Goldust played in helping his career and how he, Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre all made it to WWE from the U.K. independents.
Note: There is some background noise but it's mostly just in the first minute or so.

Thanks Kevin as always for your great interviews, you definitely are the "Barbara Walters of Wrestling Blogs" for sure! Sheamus comes across well for sure in interviews, heard a few radio interviews of him and he seems like a cool guy.

That's a great picture of Sheamus!
Sheamus looks like a real freak/nutcase.
In pro-wrestling that is a good thing!

Sometines you see a guy play a jerk so well that you just assume he's gotta be a real jerk out of the ring (like Sheamus). Glad to see I was apparently wrong, as he seems genuinely friendly and respectful. Big ups Kev!

Kevin,
Really enjoyed the interview with Sheamus. Seems like a terrific and humble guy. Speaks so highly of Dustin Rhodes, Wade Barret and Drew McIntire. Hope Sheamus continues to enjoy success...along with Wade and Drew.
