WWE releases six performers
WWE announced today that it has released the following performers: Shad Gaspard, Luke Gallows, Vance Archer, Caylen Croft, Tiffany and Jillian Hall.
The writing was on the wall for most of them, although I am a little surprised that WWE has given up on Gaspard. Because of his impressive size, I always thought that he had a decent shot to make it as a singles wrestler, but after Cryme Tyme split up earlier this year, Gaspard’s push as a singles heel was quickly aborted and he was sent back to the Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory.
Once the Straight Edge Society was disbanded, Gallows’ future was in jeopardy. In the case of Archer and Croft, it’s interesting that they were let go while their tag team partners – Curt Hawkins and Trent Barreta, respectively – were spared.
Tiffany has been off WWE TV ever since a well-publicized domestic disturbance between her and her husband, Drew McIntyre, in August. It had been reported – although never officially announced by WWE – that she had been suspended because of the situation. In September, she was cleared of assault charges stemming from the incident.
The release of Hall is somewhat surprising in light of the fact that she appeared to be transitioning into a new role with the company. Hall, who has long been near the bottom in the Divas pecking order, was taken off TV and sent to FCW to become a trainer last month.

I suspect Jullian Hall asked for her release in private. She'll show up in TNA in 3 months.
As far as Gaspard, not needed because Ezekiel Jackson is bigger, faster, stronger, and much more athletic.

I'm surprised at some of the results, I thought it'd be possibly christian and or goldust. Because goldust now has no story and christians been injured. I'm very surprised about gallows as I thought he could be a dominate force in the wwe, like the nextjbl mayvbe. Shad didn't surprise me much as I he hasn't wrestled in a while. Jillian surprises me because honestly I remember her always being there since my childhood. I remember the what chants during the national anthem :( sad news man

sean, I think you're confusing Jillian Hall with Lillian Garcia who herself has been gone for a while now.

Wow, Shad never recovered from loosing that strap match to JTG, huh? Think from now on, when tag teams break up, they'll say to each other "I'm the JTG, and you're the Shad!"?

I guess The Gatecrashers are never getting back together. And no more Shad!!! Heartbreaking, I loved that guy.

Sad to see Gallows go. Wow. Nobody from the SES is active now, with Serena and Gallows gone and Punk and Mercury on the DL.. or PUP.. whichever lol. Sad to see Jillian go to. All the years she was like the Funaki of the women's division. Solid worker that never got to win, but stayed around for a looong time.

I was surprised when Lance Hoyt/Rock was sacked from TNA and i'm surprised now that he's gone from WWE, this time as Vance Archer.
He's a big boy, has a great look, can move and has a decent skill set.
I know he lacks charisma and mic skills but he still has enough going for him to surely make it in one of the two big companies.
I hope he goes back to TNA and gets a real chance (i wouldn't even say no to a Rock and Rave Infection reunion, as long as Christy returned too).

If Hall does show up in TNA, hopefully, they will allow her to show what she can really do in the ring.

I thought Vance Archer was an intriguing & plausibly scary psycho heel. Even his music suited him. He and Hawkins were an impressive tag team, and should've been pushed harder. Well, who knows.
I'm still bummed out Mike Knox is gone... a giant bearded mountain-man-looking dude is a vital part of any good wrestling show, in my opinion.

Surprised that Gallows was let go. He showed that he can perform in totally different gimmicks and get over. Thats a pretty useful skill to have. The others don't surprise me at all. I would be surprised if even TNA wanted Gaspard, he is slow, green and useless on the mic.

I am absolutely devastated that TIffany is gone. She was so articulate.

Weird one.
Thought Archer was better than Hawkins!
Thought Croft and Baretta were good as a pairing.
Didn't buy Shad as a vicious heel, but he was good in the ring.
Is it possible that Jillian could be released as a performer, but kept as an entertainer?

Good, clean up some of the boring untalented waste of segment performers. Seriously, when I read the list, I thought to myself " Wow, Less chance of the show being jammed packed with crap. More air time for the talented". So I'm very happy with this news.

Vance Archer has a tramp stamp. He will never be over because of that.

"Think from now on, when tag teams break up, they'll say to each other "I'm the JTG, and you're the Shad!"?"
That is like saying "I'm the Marty Jannetty and you're the Marty Jannetty!"
