WWE Survivor Series preview
Predictions for tonight’s WWE pay-per-view:
WWE champion Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett (special guest referee: John Cena): WWE has done an outstanding job of creating drama for this match. The stipulation is that Cena will be free of The Nexus if Barrett wins the title, but Cena will be fired if Orton retains. I’d love to see WWE make the bold decision to turn Cena heel tonight, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. The more likely scenario is that Cena calls the match down the middle, but some type of interference takes place that he doesn’t see and he has no choice but to make the three count for Barrett. It wouldn’t surprise me to see David Otunga and/or R-Truth get involved. There also is a possibility of The Miz – who doesn’t have a match tonight – cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase and walking out of Survivor Series with the WWE title. Either way, I don’t see Orton retaining the championship.
World heavyweight champion Kane vs. Edge: My guess is that Edge wins the match by disqualification, thus setting up a rematch at next month’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view.
Survivor Series elimination match (Rey Mysterio, The Big Show, Kofi Kingston, MVP and Chris Masters vs. Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and Tyler Reks): As much as I would like to see Del Rio emerge as the sole survivor, I just have a feeling that Mysterio’s side will prevail.
U.S. champion Daniel Bryan vs. Ted DiBiase Jr.: CM Punk was in line for a title program with Bryan, but his injury opened up the spot for DiBiase, who had been stuck in a bottom-of-the card feud with Goldust. This should be a good match, although I can’t imagine that WWE would take the belt off Bryan at this point.
Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Kaval: Much like the Bryan-DiBiase match-up, I expect a well-worked match and the champion to retain.
John Morrison vs. Sheamus: The most entertaining aspect of the build-up to this match has been Santino Marella’s involvement, but there probably won’t be any funny business tonight. This has the potential to be the best match on the show. I feel pretty confident that Sheamus will win.
WWE tag team champions Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater vs. Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov: I know that some people already consider the WWE tag team title to be a joke, but putting the belts on the comedic duo of Marella and Kozlov would remove all doubt. It won’t happen. Gabriel and Slater retain.
WWE Divas co-champions LayCool vs. Natalya in a handicap match: This is the third straight pay-per-view in which Natalya has challenged for the title, and I’m going with the old adage about the third time being the charm. Michelle McCool and Layla will get their signals crossed and a double-team move will backfire, allowing Natalya to overcome the odds and win the title. That will lead to the break-up of LayCool and a feud between McCool and Layla. Or is that just wishful thinking?

From a business standpoint, Cena can't turn heel. One his DVD is getting ready to come out, plus it's the holiday season no way they would have their biggest merchandise seller go against the kids and their parents who buy his stuff for their little ones. Plus no one else can come to bringing in the merchandise $$$$ that Cena does.
Or would ignore all that and turn him anyway.

My thought is Barret wins clean. Then Orton and cCena beat him down Miz takes his MOB shot wins then Orton wants his rematch and he beats Miz with Cena counting the 1 2 3

In a perfect world, Cena Screws Orton out of the Title. Hands the belt to Barrett, and raising his hand in victory. (Thus starting Cena's heel turn) Barrett then relieves Cena from the Nexus. Cena AA's Barrett then puts him in the STF. Once Barrett is unconscious Miz comes out cashes in his MITB and wins the title.
Then WWE has a choice of where it can go next.

I can see Barrett winning by some sort of outside interference and then Orton lays out Barrett with a RKO and then Miz comes down and cashes in on the MiTB.
That way Cena stays, Orton loses the title and Miz cashes in.

Cena counts the pinfall for Barrett over Orton to give Barrett the title and free him from Nexus. Then The Miz cashes in his MITB contract and Cena counts the pinfall for Miz over Barrett to exact some revenge on Barrett.

I think you're right Eck. If Cena turns heel and goes after Orton, who fights back on the Nexus? Orton would only be a natural if Miz doesn't cash in his Money in the Bank. Miz isn't on the card so tonight would be a good time to do it.
I think a Cena-Barrett program would really work heading into Wrestlemania. Though I could see Cena taking a bump, missing an RKO to cover on Barrett. Somebody interferes with Cena still out leading to Barrett getting a cover for the win.
Cena hands the belt to Barrett and then drops him in an Attitude Adjustment and walks off. Miz hits the ring and cashes in the Money in the Bank contract on a groggy Barrett and takes the title for himself.
However, Orton comes back and RKO's Miz, Riley, and Barrett one more time to close the show.
Cena-Barrett/Nexus leading to Wrestlemania. Because of Cena's rivalry with Barrett and the Nexus, Barrett blames Cena for setting him for the Miz.
Orton-Miz/Riley program heading to Atlanta for the WWE title. Daniel Bryan is in a program with DiBiase and Miz needs a new face to go against.

Cena could call the match down the middle and Barrett could win the title cleanly, allowing Cena to keep his job...but then Miz cashes in his MitB briefcase and wins the belt, causing Cena to get fired anyway since the stipulation (I believe) was that Barrett must walk out of Survivor Series with the title or Cena is fired. Remember, they pointed out that the stipulation has nothing to do with Barrett winning or losing the match with Orton (DQ or otherwise), just ending the night as champion.

Wouldn't supprise me if Cena counts 3 for Barrett, give him the FU/AA and calls the Miz down to pin Barrett and reveals an allegance. That way Cena does a heel turn without being in Nexus as at this point it won't make sense for Barrett and Cena to be working together.

No mention of HHH in your preview. I think he is due to return.

Maybe a Beth Phoenix return to take on new champ Natalya?

i agree with you in all of your predictions except the sheamus vs. john morrison. i think hhh will return because its a ppv and one of the biggest ones. so i think hhh will return after the match and beat sheamus around
