Orlando interested in building WWE Hall of Fame
Officials in Orlando, Fla., are preparing a bid to build the WWE Hall of Fame in their city, according to a report in The Orlando Sentinel.
WWE began inducting pro wrestling figures into its Hall of Fame in 1993, although there has never been an actual building for it.
The story said that WWE has solicited proposals for the project from multiple cities. The company wants to put the Hall of Fame in a place that attracts a lot of tourists.

The hall of fame should be in somewhere like Connecticut or New York, where the WWE is more associated with.

It's about time. An actual Hall of Fame would be a great way to let the fans get to see pieces of wrestling history on display as well as a place for "Superstars" to meet and greet during the year. If done right they could even incorporate a small FCW arena that could attract people to see live wrestling matches.

I cannot imagine the WWE/WWF H.O.F. being anywhere other than at Madison Square Garden in NYC. While I'm on the H.O.F. subject, I was reading on another wrestling site the possibility of Abdullah the Butcher's induction this year, which I believe is long overdue, as he was the preeminent heel all over the world for several decades. Any thoughts?
