WWE Hell in a Cell preview
Predictions for tonight’s WWE pay-per-view:
WWE champion Randy Orton vs. Sheamus in a Hell in a Cell match: I still don’t get the sense that fans care enough about Sheamus for him to be in this spot. If Orton doesn’t win, I riot.
World heavyweight champion Kane vs. The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match: I can envision a scenario in which Paul Bearer turns on The Undertaker and costs him the match, setting up another showdown between the “brothers” at the Bragging Rights pay-per-view in three weeks, but I really don’t think it’s going down that way. I expect The Undertaker to regain the title tonight, and then for Kane to attack Bearer on television and put him out, setting up a rematch in which The Undertaker has to beat Kane without Bearer (and the magical urn) in his corner.
Wade Barrett vs. John Cena: The stipulation is that if Cena wins, The Nexus disbands, and if Barrett wins, Cena has to join the group. The Nexus is barred from ringside and Cena will win automatically if any of them interfere. I don’t see The Nexus breaking up yet, and the story line of Cena having to join the hated black and yellow faction is a compelling one. Somehow, Barrett finds a way to emerge victorious.
U.S. champion Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz vs. John Morrison in a Submissions Count Anywhere match: It’s too early to take the title from Bryan. Plus, Miz doesn’t need the belt at this point, and I just don’t see Morrison winning. In fact, I won’t be surprised if Morrison is the one to do the job.
Unified Divas champion Michelle McCool vs. Natalya: It’s a shame that McCool keeps getting pay-per-view matches while Layla has to play cheerleader outside the ring. Oh well, it is what it is, as they say. I am glad to see Natalya getting a title shot, and these two will likely have a better-than-average Divas match. I would be stunned if McCool doesn’t win.
Note: With only five matches announced, I would expect there to be at least one more, possibly an Intercontinental title bout between champion Dolph Ziggler and MVP. Edge, CM Punk and Jack Swagger are among those who do not have an advertised match.

I predict - and will continue to predict until it happens - that Triple H returns and causes Sheamus the WWE Title Match after a brutal encounter with Randy Orton. Then The Miz comes down to cash in his MITB briefcase and we have a new champion. What do you think Kev? After the abysmal ratings Raw has been getting the past few weeks, don't you agree they have to shake things up a bit? I mean, Cena going to Nexus is not going to be enough, especially since it is too predictable that Cena is going to reveal that he did the job on purpose because he needed to "destroy the Nexus from inside and out."

I agree with you on the all of these especially the possible Paul Bearer heel turn.
And since Nexus is still being promoted at future shows, signs point to a win for Barrett or some sort of DQ ending.
It'd be interesting to see Cena with Nexus, kinda like how HBK had to serve for JBL a few years back

I really hope you right about the John v. Wade match.

I don't think they will make the ratings jump by just "shaking up" the WWE title holder. They did that with Sheamus a few months back and ratings were still low. PG or not, until the story lines are better, more unpredictable and consistently good week in and week out, no one will care who is the champion. RAW was supposed to be the "anything can happen" show. It is getting very predictable. Wrestling fans will always watch wrestling shows no matter how bad the programs are. The ratings jump they want are from casual viewers who just tune in and get "hooked".
I look forward to the "new generation" making a name for themselves. If the future champions get don't appeal to mainstream fans, then ratings will never be what they were 10 years ago.

To me, this ppv exposes exactly what is wrong with the gimmick ppv concept. There's not a whole lot of heat between Orton and Shemus, certainly not enough to demand "Satan's Structure", yet here it is. When you book matches to fit the gimmick, rather then because the program demands taking things to the next level, the match and the gimmick suffers.

Hahahaha. I predicted that NXT 2 would interfere

I am so sick and tired of the Nexus. I am ready to stop watching. It is the same thing over and over. And whats up with showing over and over the wrestling matched we saw on Monday or Tuesday or Thursday or Friday. Not a little bit, the whole thing. don't they have enough wrestlers to make matches, now that Batista, Shawn Michaels, HHH aren't there. I miss seeing them. WWE is really going down hill, sorry to say. I don't miss any WWE shows, but I am getting bored now. They better make things better or they are going to lose a lot of viewers.

I haven't watched HIAC yet, but Paul Bearer has been wearing a red neck tie on Smackdown! in each of his first two appearances. Kane, as we know, is the Big Red Monster. That would certainly be some interesting foreshadowing for a Bearer heel turn.

Good picks for Sunday...do you think Cena will have to wear the Nexus shirt, or will the Raw GM dq the stipulation on Raw? thanks sir

Should have went with your gut feelings and kept the prediction about Bearer turning on Undertaker. Most people had that same prediction as well.
It was one of those things where it was too obvious, so it made people want to think that it's not going to happen.
RESPONSE FROM KE: I agree. It did seem too obvious.
