The firing of giant rookie diva Aloisia: Real or story line?
After the all-diva NXT Season 3 cast was announced during the NXT Season 2 finale Tuesday night, the one rookie diva that people were buzzing about was the 6-foot-9 Aloisia.
Today, the Internet is buzzing about Aloisia for a different reason. She has been removed from the show before it has even started.
A few hours ago, wwe.com reported that Aloisia has been fired by her pro, Vickie Guerrero, and that Guerrero would reveal her new rookie on Tuesday’s season premiere of NXT Season 3.
Guerrero firing her is obviously a story line, but it’s unclear whether Aloisia is still under contract or if she has legitimately been future-endeavored by WWE.
It has only been two weeks since WWE signed Aloisia, who wrestled on the independents as Isis The Amazon. Perhaps WWE came to the realization that she’s just too green to be on TV at this time.
I have a hard time believing that WWE would release a woman with Aloisia’s unique look. Even if she is the worst wrestler of all time, she’d be perfect in the role of a bodyguard for an under-sized male heel.
Around the same time that the wwe.com story went up, Aloisia tweeted the following:
"There's nothing you can do to me, that's EVER gonna bury me ... I'm fearless, YOU better believe I'm fearless, fearless." I AM FEARLESS.”

obviously a storyline

I'm not sure dshe'd be believable as a bodyguard. Despite her height, her physique isn't exactly reminiscent of Chyna, or Nicole Bass, for that matter. Still, I'd love to see her.

"Perhaps WWE came to the realization that she’s just too green to be on TV at this time."
She may be green, but that wouldn't stop her being one of the best workers in WWE's women's division.
I really have no doubt that this is all a work. I think she'll come back and be the unstoppable giant who is out seeking revenge and "what is hers."
She may be the rookie getting the most attention, but to me AJ Lee is easily the best worker and the favourite...of course being a good worker means nothing for women in WWE (Gail Kim? Mickie James?) But she's a good looking girl as well who could play that bubbly diva everyone loves - just like Trish or Mickie. Also in season 1 and 2 the two best workers got big pushes, Kaval won and Bryan was the most interesting character with the most attention (his feuds with Miz and Cole). Personally I think AJ Lee is in with a great chance...I just hope WWE ignores that she's with Jay Lethal.

I was gonna post about the impression Aloisia made on me in the earlier NXT post... but Oh my god, she is amazing. She is the only reason I would watch next season of NXT. I don't care that the Bella Twins are "pros," I don't care that the other aspiring divas are bimbo cheerleaders... I would tune in to see Aloisia.
What a woman! Six foot nine. WOW. And those... I mean that... physique! I'm captivated. I'm so into her that I'm even a little weirded out by my own excitement... but I have to see her!!!

Hey Kev have you heard various reports on wresting blogs that the WWE plans to unify all the belts all they up till WrestleMania
RESPONSE FROM KE: I've seen the reports but I have no idea how valid they are.

I'm just hoping, that maybe, just maybe, they sign Awesome Kong as the new addition. If so, I also hop she doesn't do some ridiculous gimmick like being Kamala's daughter or something stereotypical.

It does suck that Aloisia isn't gonna be on NXT now, but what WWE needs to do it bring Mickie James back. All Mickie James fans who want her back in WWE, please go to this site and sign this petition:

Wow, if the WWE let go of her, that's a huge mistake. She's no Rocha Khan - She looks like a legit 6'9" and built.

I bet she comes back into NXT as an invader, and just destroys everybody!

Hey Kev, there is one word that best describes Aloisa and that word is "Lurch."

No idea if it's a storyline but given her history (a quick Google search reveals all) i didn't see her as a good fit for the modern day WWE.
Then again, you'd think they'd have done their research before signing her.

I think this is a work. The fact that it says Vicki Guerrero fired her makes it seem like a storyline. Even if she does have that kind of legitimate power within the company, they never say who does the firing when someone is actually let go. Besides, I think the fact that she cut a NXT promo that Matthews and Cole made so much fuss about would be cause enough to do a legitimate "future endeavors". I'm with Steve G. and think that she's just going to crash the party.

Total kayfabe. And I will say that being the worst wrestler in the world in a situation like she is in won't stop WWE from using her. Just look at the Great Khali.

Hiring her two weeks ago implies that they may have given her a physical two weeks ago as part of the Wellness Policy. That's about the right time for results from such a physical to come in. I wonder if they found something that changed everyone's plans.

She's an attraction, but looking at some of the youtube videos - she's awfully clumsy - shocker. And at that size, I'd think she's a real risk to accidentally hurt someone. If I was advising WWE, I'd say the risk is probably greater than the reward.
