Report: Aloisia was pulled from NXT because of erotic photos

The latest on the removal of 6-foot-9 diva Aloisia from NXT Season 3 is that WWE made the call to do so after discovering “erotic photos” of her online.

According to a report on pwinsider.com, WWE dropped Aloisia (real name Lindsay Hayward) from the show because the photos -- which were posted on a website devoted to tall women -- were not consistent with the company’s PG rating.

It had been reported on wrestlingobserver.com Monday that she was pulled from NXT because she had been deemed not ready and needed more wrestling training.

Aloisia is still under contract with WWE.

This could be true, but doesn't make sense. Especially since you have playboy pics of Maryse out there.

There seems to be a rumor going around that Aloisia has been contacted by Richard Blumenthal's campaign. He's the guy who's running against Linda McMahon in CT. Saw this on Diva Dirt.

Can you imagine Hornswoggle & Aloisia as a mixed tag team?

Aww c'mon! I was about to eat dinner!

I hate to say i told you so.... ;)

But seriously, as i said in your initial blog on her 'firing', i was surprised that they signed her given her past and their now 'family friendly' product.

I'm more surprised though that they got to the point of putting her on television without doing their due diligence in terms of background checks.
It took me all of 30 seconds to see what she got up to prior to her signing with WWE so surely a massive corporation like WWE would have done the same before committing to a new talent.

So how do Maryse, Tiffany, etc. still have jobs? Playboy ain't exactly PG.

Ha, called it! I just one a £10 bet with my mate, I had a feeling this would be the reason. It's consistent with a load of recent Diva policy recently ie Maria, Mickie James and Candice all on the way out and the pushing of Layla, Eve and Alica, even Maryse has been on the back burner.

Seems contradictory since Maryse recently did a playboy photo shoot. WWE can't possibly be unaware of that.

RESPONSE FROM KE: Maryse's photo shoot was prior to her signing with WWE.

Why is Maryse in the WWE then? She was a nude model before she joined the WWE. Or how about the times that the WWE has let Divas pose in Playboy? Or that Kelly Kelly use to perform the Expose', and was a contestant in a Best Buns contest?

To quote Miz here, "Really?"

Absolutely stupid move. She was one of the main reasons why I was going to tune in to watch. I wanted to see if she was just another big person in the ring with no quality other than the size, or if she could actually wrestle. Seeing some of her work as "Isis" I do question her in ring talent, but people can grow and learn.

The other reason I will watch is Jamie Keyes. She is very well sculpted and still looks like a lady rather than what Nicole Bass and Chyna looked like. She will be my favorite heading into the show.

Aren't they going a little overboard with the whole "PG"-rating thing? Linda's opponent will find plenty of fluff from the Attitude era to use against her--just being PG now isn't going to undo the past...

Seems rather odd since you can do a Google search on Maryse and find plenty of nudes of her.

For those asking the difference between this and Maryse, appearing in something as mainstream as Playboy is, rightly or wrongly, seen as less offensive and sleazy than work on a fetish website.

Splitting hairs but one is generally considered borderline acceptable by many, the other is barely spoken of in public.

Sorry - a 6'9" giant cannot be sexy in any way.

If it's true, I'm guessing it's not because the pictures are there; it's because she didn't tell them about the pictures. A big corporation like WWE doesn't like surprises. Either way, it's probably for the best. She can probably use a lot more seasoning before being basically the star of their show.

Thanks for the twisted humor, Christina.

The WWE will change from its PG programming if Linda McMahon loses in the election.

Never mind about Maryse!!! What about MARIA whose PLAYBOY shoot was a storyline with Santino?!?!?!

Maybe it's just me, maybe nobody else has considered it, but why aren't people questioning if this is a work?

Seems to me they've got someone with the potential to rule over the womens division (I hate the term 'diva'). They hype her up, then cause even more hype by 'firing' her.

She spends the next 3 months getting some serious training in so she's ready for TV, then at the end of the season the NXT girls set up their inevitable gang, the current women bring her in to help them put an end to the latest invasion.

They did it with Bryan Danielson...

The WWE would love to fool the IWC and rub their noses in it by doing almost exactly the same thing again.

"The WWE will change from its PG programming if Linda McMahon loses in the election."

Doubtful. They moved to PG well before Linda's campign started, and they have been much more attractive to important sponsors with the PG deal, getting deals with Mattel and Burger King.

excuse me!?
where is the usual...

I agree with Jessica on this. Smells like a work to me. This is a whole hunk of a woman they have in Aloisia. Not sure if she is actually 6'9 because WWE always fibs on height and weight but none the less she is pretty huge.
And she was the main reason I was going to watch the diva's edition of NXT.
So I'm hoping it's a work and that Vickie will have a giant problem on her hands all Winter. And who's to say Big Show doesn't need a mixed tag partner. (Other than Smelly Kelly)
