Report: Skip Sheffield injured
WWE’s Skip Sheffield suffered a broken ankle during a tag team match at a house show in Hawaii Wednesday night and is expected to be out of action “for some time,” according to wrestlingobserver.com.
That’s a tough blow for Sheffield, who originally signed a WWE developmental deal in 2005 and didn't make it to the main roster until a couple months ago for The Nexus angle. Although he didn’t stand out on NXT Season 1, Sheffield has been getting over as the powerhouse of the heel faction.
With Darren Young having been kicked out of The Nexus on Raw this past Monday, Sheffield’s injury means the group is down to five members.
Sheffield was teaming with fellow Nexus member David Otunga against WWE tag team champions The Hart Dynasty when the injury occurred.

I could see Harris (just voted out of season 2) joining Nexus to replace Sheffield.

That is a tough development for him - I agree, I thought he was really getting over as a brute powerhouse, similar to how Dave Batista finally made his mark in Evolution.

With NXT season 2 winding down, do you think those rookies will get involved in the angle at all?

Wow that hurts. He was one of the breakout stars for Nexus. That will hurt the group he was the enforcer. Otunga will have to fill the void.

Re: Coachman
I just heard him last weekend doing a show on ESPN's national radio network. I think he's settled in Bristol for the long haul.

The Coach is still working for ESPN. If you tune into 1300 AM he does radio stuff now.

Jonathan Coachman has taken some time off because his wife had a baby. He mentioned on the radio.

Tough news. This guy was really coming into his own in the WWE.
Perhaps Barrett could convince Sheamus to join the group in his place.

Skip Sheffield is taking Batista's spot as the injured muscleman.

How about Adamle and He Hate Me as co-GMs?

Since Nexus has hit the scene, I have lost much interest in the WWE. I really do not think Nexus adds much to the show. If they are going to fight, do it one on one in a match, and quit wasting air time. .
Get on with some real matches..
