Report: Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre visa issues resolved

The visa issues of WWE stars Wade Barrett and Drew McIntyre have been resolved, according to a report on wrestlingobserver.com.

Barrett, who was not on Raw Monday because his work visa had expired, is expected to be back on this coming Monday’s show. Obviously, that’s good news for the Nexus angle, which would have been significantly weakened if Barrett – the group’s leader and best all-around performer – was off TV for multiple weeks.

As for McIntyre, his expired work visa was integrated into the story line, so he will return to Smackdown when the creative team feels the time is right to bring him back.

Any more word on Daniel Bryan? Hs he said or done anything public?

It is now looking more like it was a legit firing... Sad, he was really growing on me.

bryan danielson has addressed the whole thing on his blog. hes a class act to.

I can't remember what site I read it on - Wrestleview, maybe - but I read some comments from Danielson himself saying that he was fired for choking Justin Roberts and for spitting in John Cena's face. So as much as people want this to be a work, I think it's legit.

And the whole RAW cast... have they made it back into the States yet? (I hope I'm not the only one who thought this story bore a striking resemblance to that previous situation this year.)

Hey Kevin-do you know why Danielson is be allowed to work indy shows? Does he not have the normal 90 day no-compete or does that only apply to TNA and ROH?

RESPONSE FROM KE:It's standard that when someone is released from WWE they can take indy dates during the 90-day no-compete. just can't appear on TV or PPV.

One thing that perplexes me in regards to Drew is the fact that he is married to Tiffany.

Unless I'm mistaken the means he's married to an American citizen which in turn means he can't be deported nor should he require a visa. I could be wrong however.

Bryan Danielson is allowed to work for indys as WWE have just said that he cant appear on TV or PPV, like stated above. After the 90 days no compete caluse has expired, he's free to accept any offers that come hsis way - and that can include WWE, so he could still be back.

As for Barrett, its good he will be back, 'nexus' is nothing without him. And hopefully Mcintyre will be put back into the storyline soon. As far as im aware, he IS allowed to work in the USA still, just WWE have decided to write it into the storyline, I assume that anyway.
