Quick hits on WWE Superstars
• As soon as I saw that Chris Jericho was going to be wrestling on Thursday night’s episode of WWE Superstars, I knew there was no way I was going to blow off the show this week. Jericho defeated Yoshi Tatsu in a good match. It was nice to see Jericho actually get someone to submit to the Walls of Jericho.
• During the match, Jericho busted Tatsu open above the eye when he lowered his kneepad and delivered a kneedrop. While the medics were tending to Tatsu on the floor, Jericho kept the crowd engaged by sitting on a chair in the ring and nonchalantly inspecting his fingernails to convey that he couldn’t care less about Tatsu.
• Something extremely rare happened on this show: Chavo Guerrero scored a clean win. No, I’m not kidding. He defeated JTG, who didn’t really get in a whole lot of offense. That doesn’t bode too well for the former Cryme Tyme member.
• Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins were impressive in their win over two enhancement guys.
• The Divas tag team match that saw the Bellas defeat Jillian Hall and Maryse was entertaining. The old switcheroo works again for the twins.

Comments
Has anyone been more adversely-affected by the demise of ECW than Tatsu? He was a promising up-and-comer, but rarely gets on television these days.
Kevin, you've been predicting the demise of JTG for years now. I still don't get why you hate the guy so much.
RESPONSE FROM KE: I don't hate JTG. I don't know the guy. I didn't like the Cryme Tyme gimmick.

Hawkins and Archer KILLED it! That was one hell of a brutal, exciting, sit-up-and-take-notice piece of tag team destruction! Didn't hurt that the enhancement talent were super-skilled. Wish Hawkins & Archer would get a name, like a real tag team.
Superstars was way better than Smackdown this week. All solid matches. King even got a laugh out of me: "If beauty was time, the Bellas would be eternity." Far out, man...

I thought for the past few weeks that it looked like they were cleaning chavo's image a little to perhaps make him a more serious competitor. That'd be nice to see.

Speaking of former Cryme Time members...what happened ot Shad?
I thought it was "his time"
Also I think after the terrible Hart/Uso feud is over, that Archer and Hawkins should be in line for the titles.

@Jules: Speaking of a name for Hawkins and Archer, I don't know if you caught it on commentary. Grisham tried to use the Gatecrashers name that Striker had given them on SD (which I think is a GREAT name, btw, shades of the Outsiders and all) and Striker (i.e., his earpiece) went out of his way to shoot it down. I agree that it's very necessary and I don't understand why WWE is getting in their own way.
@eee: If there is any justice in the world, Shad is off tv so they can bring him back as a monster heel after the crime time memories fade. I have no idea if it's true, but I'd so love to see it.
