ODB gone from TNA
ODB posted on Twitter earlier tonight that she is no longer with TNA. She wrote that it was her decision.
Judging by how little television time she has received since the Hulk Hogan-Eric Bischoff regime took over, it seemed as if it was just a matter of time before ODB and TNA parted ways.
ODB, who said in a recent interview that she needed a new challenge and was looking at getting into acting, reportedly had heat with TNA management for a comment she made on Twitter a couple months ago in which she asked “[What] is happening to [the Knockouts] division?”
So now we can add ODB to the list of talented female performers who have departed TNA in recent months that includes Awesome Kong, Tara, Alissa Flash and Roxxi (who was just let go – again – after her match at Sunday night’s Slammiversary pay-per-view).
I wouldn’t count on WWE having any interest in ODB. Like Awesome Kong, she just doesn’t fit WWE’s idea of what women wrestlers are supposed to look like. ODB actually started playing the character in Ohio Valley Wrestling several years ago when it was part of WWE developmental, and WWE never really gave her the time of day even though she was over with the fans.
Personally, I thought ODB was one of the most entertaining characters – male or female – in TNA.

Comments
I never bought into the ODB character, found it too obnoxious and a one line joke.
The woman behind the character seemed nice and she was a solid enough worker.

I'm heartbroken, I love ODB but this is a bad move for her, what happends to all the great Divas when they leave wrestling? Like Lita, you never hear from them again. Should have stuck it out with TNA longer maybe things would of got better, I mean she was so good at what she did which was be a wrestler.

So now we've got WWE "Management" and TNA "Management" sucking... I smell a crossover!
All the wrestlers can talk about how much "Management" is screwing the business and they can be lead by....... Shane O'Mac!

Really disappointed by this, ODB was easily my favourite Knockout in TNA, hopefully she'll move on to bigger and better things.

Hogan probably didn't want a female wrestler who could kick his a** if he got out of line............

Way to go Hogan and Bischoff. There's no way Odb will be signed to wwe given that the women's division is all about eye candy. Even if by the slightest chance Odb did get signed by wwe, she would only be a midcarder at best (see Gail Kim).
I'm telling you Kevin that one of these days the hardcore tna fans are going to start a petition begging Dixie and Bob Carter to fire Hogan and Bischoff. And to be honest, I would sign thier petition.

She was an excellent entertainer with decent athleticism and ring skills, but I felt that character had been played out and had become dull. It was a time for a gimmick change, I just wonder if she has anything to offer. Also, the women against whom she had the best chemistry- Kong and Tara- have also departed.
Has anyone else checked out pics of ODB from her earliest wrestling days? What a transformation...which might have been good for her wrestling career, but otherwise just a bit scary.

Never really dug her character. I swear that it's just Dee Snider wearing a fake bra.

Are there any babyfaces in the Knockouts division anymore? The only thing I can see going on is Lacey getting kicked out and being replaced by the Big Bertha type character in TBP. I'm sure we're all anticipating this.
ODB's character was a little stale but she is a great performer. Maybe SHIMMER will gain more revenue and marketability.
I think the only way for women's wrestling to gain the respect it deserves is to be separated from the Big 1 1/2.
