Raw crew standed in Europe, could miss Monday's show
The WWE Raw crew is having such bad luck on its European trip, you'd think Clark Griswold was involved.
Due to the Icelandic volcano, air travel in much of Europe has been restricted and it is looking less and less likely that the Raw crew will make it back to the U.S. in time for Monday night's live Raw in New Jersey.
If that scenario does indeed happen, it is expected that the Smackdown crew will work the Raw show and vignettes featuring Raw wrestlers will be aired throughout the broadcast, according to various Internet reports. WWE is in a tough spot since this is the final Raw before Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
A report on pwinsider.com speculated that Raw talent could appear on Tuesday's Smackdown taping in Connecticut if they make it back in time for that.

Maybe they could set up a ring at whatever airport they are stuck at and do the show by satellite linkup. Vince is a master at improvisation (i.e. the Montreal Screwjob).

hey Kev, if they make it to Raw it will be a miracle flights have once again been pushed back until 7am(gmt) and chances are it will just be pushed back further, this must be a nightmare for Vince seeing as its the last week build up to the PPV this coming Sunday. Met office isnt so sure things will be cleared up until at least mid week..
Think the guys and girls will be looking to hop on a ship if it doesnt clear up soon.
Not to be a doom merchant or anything but what do you think would happen with the PPV if they couldnt make it back by next Sunday?
Vince must be having kittens with the possibility of 3 outta 5 matches being in jeapordy.
Ah well, theres worse places to be stuck than Belfast.

My thought is that SmackDown is going to make an 'extreme takeover' of Monday Night RAW, and then RAW will return in kind on Tuesday or even later since there are no other house shows between now and Extreme Rules.

Assuming the Raw crew gets back Wed/Thurs, couldn't they go live on Friday? I'm sure they'd be able to book an arena somewhere on the East Coast...

Maybe they can try a split stadium gig a la Wrestlemania 2. 'Course, the time zones are a little more spread out.

Hey! If RAW can't get it into gear by Monday, iMPACT might finally win a battle! Wonder weather Hogan or Russo will take credit for it.

I wonder if Vince will now get private plane for wrestlers when they have to travel overseas. Even when air travel ban is lifted the wrestlers will still have to wait for a flight cause Im sure every flight will be overbooked by now.

See! If Vladimir Kozlov isn't booked for RAW now with a shortened roster, then be glad that you are not in the cast of "MacGruber."
It might suck for WWE in terms of their go-home show before a pay-per-view, but in terms of creative, this is the best thing that could happen for WWE to build new stars at a midcard level. Just give center stage to Carlito and Vladimir Kozlov this week, and let their angle mean something.

The draft is next week, right? So I expect we will see a lot of Smackdown people "demanding" to be on Raw tongiht.

The rumor is that Hogan and Bischoff are taking credit for the volcano...something about sacrificing Bubba (we can only hope) to keep WWE Raw in England to help TNA's ratings.
