TNA Impact replay tonight

Spike is going to replay Monday’s episode of TNA Impact after all. The show will air tonight in its former time slot at 9 p.m.

Originally, the network planned to show the movie “Predator” at that time.

TNA replayed Impact on Thursday last week, but the plan was not to do so moving forward. However, last week’s replay did a 1.0 rating, which is a strong number for a rebroadcast and was nearly identical to what Monday’s live show had done three days earlier.

This past Monday’s Impact dipped to a 0.8.

TNA president Dixie Carter addressed the programming change earlier today on Twitter, saying: “The large # of viewers to watch iMPACT! replay last week made Spike want to re-air the show again tonight.”

For those who missed the show Monday but plan to watch tonight, be forewarned that the opening segment is a bit graphic. Jesse Ventura’s character in “Predator” may not have time to bleed, but Ric Flair sure does.

I know a lot of people are going to call you a WWE hack because of this hilarious comment and the BRILLIANT post on the first five minutes of TNA, but I'm just going to call you a true wrestling fan that knows a bad product when he sees it.
impact was so bad it was embarrassing. I just watch it to see how bad it gets. I know most of the IWC were rooting for TNA, and while many fans were predicting TNA becoming WCW II, we were hoping for something better. We wanted the Monday Night Wars, but remember that every war has a winner and looser. TNA is like the space smurfs from "Avatar" chopping down their own life tree while WWE just watches.

I think it was a big mistake to move Impact from Thursday in the first place. They should have waited til after Wrestlemania to do so. Look what they had to go up against, the return of Bret Hart, StoneCold Steve Austin hosting Raw, and the build up to Wrestlemania. I would have waited til at least Monday April 5th to do so that way TNA could have waited to start fresh. Whatever the ppv is after Wrestlemania, it wouldn't be as huge.
I was kinda hoping they would show the replay anyway. I like TNA but it would be much better without Hogan, Bischoff, and their cronies.

Jesse Ventura’s character in “Predator” may not have time to bleed, but Ric Flair sure does.

I am not sure if it was Jesse Ventura who said that or Schwarzenegger, BUT THAT LINE IS CLASSIC!

Poncho: "Hey man, you're bleeding..."
Arnie or Ventura: "I don't have time to bleed!"

LOL. Like if he had a choice.

It's a good thing TNA never plays a game of chicken. They'd bail out of their car while it was still parked in the garage.

Changing their prime time feature on the day of the broadcast, thus preventing any effective promotion of the change? Wow, I hadn't realized that Vince Russo is scheduling Spike TV as well as booking TNA.

it was ventura. eck's a journalist after all

Thank god, I was worried I would have nothing to watch. I would definitely miss having it on Thursdays if it is permanently gone.

I would miss it, despite Abyss and Styles being reduced to squealing school girls, and that Carrot Top wannabe always getting a seat in the front row every week...

If Spike TV is going to continue to air TNA Impact on Thursday why should anyone watch it on Monday?

TNA has a tough road ahead, even after Wrestlemania, The Rock is coming back for the summer most likely, then it goes back into football, then the road to Wrestlemania, again. So maybe April 2011 will be when their ratings start heading upward.

Southern Miss Elite hit the nail on the head a couple weeks ago when she compared TNA Impact to a "going out of business" sale. It reminded me of times that I've seen an "Everything Must Go" banner where the entire store is 70% off, so I'd walk inside and rummage around, but there was nothing I wanted.

As far as I'm concerned, that describes my feelings for TNA Impact perfectly!
