Hey Kev, I've been reading your blog for a couple years now and I gotta say you are doing a marvoulous job analysing both TNA and WWE.
My questions to you are:
-Which match do you expect to be the longest one at WM26
- Who's your pick for the MITB ladder match?
-Will HBK realistically be able to end the Undertaker's streak in your opinion?
- Do you believe Bret Hart will continue to do work for the WWE even after his short term contact expires a few weeks after WM?
- Mr. McMahon has recently said in an interview that TNA is no competition to WWE and that they are "Tawdry" and made a reference that they are in the "Wrasslin' business" the same way he did when Ted Turner purchased WCW. Do you agree with that sentiment?
Thanks for your time and keep doing a great job in the blog!
MitZi
RESPONSE FROM KE: I'll make Mania predictions Sunday morning.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Hart stay on past his short-term deal.
Vince calling another company "tawdry" is pretty hypocritical considering the Attitude Era.

Would you agree that, in just one blink, TNA ruined what could have been a solid, successful heel turn for Sting? He was believably sadistic a few weeks ago after beating guys half to death with his baseball bat and roughing up Dixie Carter. He's also been sporting a sinister-looking smirk. Yet TNA has done nothing with him since then, and have offered no explanation as to why he turned.
Also, the Abyss-Hogan storyline is nonsense. It's no different, really, than when Dave Sullivan (remember him?) idolized Hogan during his feud with the Dungeon of Doom in WCW.

where is scott steiner? is there a chance he will be back in one of the big two?
also what are the chances of a Edge vs. Christian fued? I think that would be a great story line

Hi Kev, i am a regular reader of your blogs. I want to know, who in your opinion is the best in-ring performer that you have seen and also the most popular wrestler. And also, where Shawn Michaels stands in both these categories.
I have been watching wrestling since 2004, and for me HBK is the best performer that i have seen, although i can't say about the popularity because i am not from The States. Thanks for your time Kev.
RESPONSE FROM KE: Michaels is the best I have seen. Most popular has to be either Hogan or Austin. Rock is up there, too.

Some Questions:
-Have you read Vince Russo's new book "Rope Opera" yet? If so, what are your thoughts on it and if not, do you plan to do so?
-On a somewhat-related note, have you ever read "The Death of WCW" by Bryan Alvarez & RD Reynolds? And if so how right (or wrong) do you think they were?
-Finally, although calling it "pro wrestling" is a stretch, I'm curious what you think of Wrestlicious? ;)
RESPONSE FROM KE: Russo's book was sent to me but I have not read it yet. I haven't read "Death of WCW." Haven't watched Wrestleicious. That didn't really answer any of your questions, did it?

Thanks Kevin for all that you do.
Will HHH ever be relevant again in the title picture as it seems he has in the past few years become more of a "pusher" for the younger talent or reforming DX because it was good for business?
RESPONSE FROM KE: I feel pretty confident that HHH has a few more title reigns in his future.

I've got a question about the Undertaker HBK match. You've previously posted that UT should either retire with the streak intact or only go down to "the next big thing". I've always been in favour of the former but my thoughts are starting to change. A perfect record is just a little too contrived, even for pro-wrestling (sorry Vince, sports entertainment). I think one blemish adds a little something, and who better to do it than Mr Wrestlemania? It adds so much to Michaels's legacy without really detracting a lot from the Undertaker's. the only downside is we're guaranteed a third match next year so UT can have his revenge. I'm thinking Shawn might actually win. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
RESPONSE FROM KE: I hear what you're saying, but Michaels' legacy is already assured by his in-ring performances.I still believe either UT should remain undefeated or a younger guy getting a mega-push should beat him. Personally, I don't think the streak will ever be broken.

Hi Kev,
How are you?
Are there any possibilities that Goldberg is appearing at WM and getting involved in a WM angle/storyline? Supposedly, WWE and Goldberg have been talking already and he may be interested in returning for one more match.
Thanks,
Jeff
Thanks,
Jeff

Thanks for answering my questions Kev and I read all the other ones in the chat room. Hopefully we will all enjoy Wrestlemania if it delivers!

Have you heard anything about the Briscoe Brothers going to the WWE?
RESPONSE FROM KE: They had a tryout a few months ago. Not sure where they stand.

If Undertaker's undefeated streak stays intact after Wrestlemania 26, who do you think will be the next superstar to step up to the plate? Personally, I'd like to see John Cena challenging him.
RESPONSE FROM KE: I agree. I thought it was going to be Cena this year.

Dave from Parkville, I highly recommend "The Death of WCW". It's a great read and very informative. It brutalizes the key people - ya know, most of the people who are now in TNA - except it was mostly very complimentary of Flair.

Thanks for the response Kev. You did answer the questions; just not quite the way I had hoped ;)
@Anonymous: Yeah, I recently got it from the Baltimore County Public Library and thought it was pretty interesting. I was curious what Kevin thought of it though since he used to work for WCW.
