« Wrestler of the Decade: No. 1 | Main | TNA Impact ends 2009 with a bang »

January 1, 2010

Notes on future posts

The Wrestler of the Decade countdown is over, but there are more best of the decade honors still to come. This coming week I will make my picks for the decade’s top match, feud, tag team and more. My 2009 awards will be coming soon as well.

I also want to let everyone know that there is a good chance that there will not be a review of tonight's Smackdown, as I will be in Oakland all weekend for the Ravens-Raiders game.

Happy New Year!

Just be careful of those Raiders fans, kevin. they can be down right crazy

Have fun at the game Kevin. Just stay away from the Black Hole. Not a fun place to be if you are not a Raiders fan.

Make sure you have some personal enjoyment time out there in Oakland also and enjoy the game. You've probably been already but just in case, S.F's Fisherman Wharf is worth the trip, if just for the street performers

Interesting list. I'd like to see a list Gov. Ventura would be proud of - top ten wrestlers (US brands) to NOT win a world title. It's almost like a up and coming wrestler list.

And maybe a female wrestlers list too, but since it would be full of WWE "divas", just a top five. I'd like to see Kong in there (she'd be great in the WWE).

And of course, a

Whaaaaat?! No smackdown review this week??!
Thats a shame.......but to mention its for a Raider game....thats a crime! have fun Kev.

best feud, paul londan vs billy kidman years ago on smackdown!

What possessed you to venture into the Coliseum to see the Ravens? ;-)

As many A's games as I've been to there, I've never been interested enough in seeing a Raiders game.

Hope you make it out in one piece!

Come on screw the year... I wish you and your family a very happy decade

Kev, you are the man heading to Oakland for the game. Wish I could head out there. Can't wait to see the new posts.

My psychic powers predict a respectable game for Joe Flacco: 18/31 for 236 yards with 2 TD and 1 INT.

Kevin, how about most memorable heel/babyface turns as a column idea? I still remember the first heel turn from my early years as a wrestling fan, watching Ben Justice turn on his tag-team partner The Mongolian Stomper, and join forces with "Killer" Tim Brooks in the NWA-Detroit area that was booked by The Sheik in the early 70's. What was the earliest heel turn you remember?

RESPONSE FROM KE: Spiros Arion turning on Chief Jay Srongbow in 1975.

The ep of Smackdown you missed was great Kev. And is probly still available for view on youtube if you want to see it

RESPONSE FROM KE: I taped it but hven't had a chance to watch it yet. Maybe tonight.
