Quick hits on WWE Superstars

• Thursday night’s WWE Superstars was one of those episodes that was somewhat entertaining if you caught it, but it really wasn’t worth going out of your way to see. The main event was a six-man tag match in which R-Truth and Cryme Tyme defeated The Hart Dynasty and Mike Knox. The match was decent. While I really didn’t need to see Cryme Tyme and THD in the ring against each other again, I’m always happy to see R-Truth win a match. He came off looking like the biggest star of the six competitors.

• Jack Swagger looked good in his victory over Primo. Swagger’s winning streak gimmick basically gives away the result of his matches, but I’m not complaining. I’m glad that Swagger is getting a push.

• The Alicia Fox-Kelly Kelly match was a little sloppy, but they are two of my favorite divas, so I forgive them.

• Zack Ryder and Tyler Reks are both young, athletic guys and competent workers, but their match illustrated that one of them (Ryder) has the “it” factor, while the other (Reks) seems to be missing something. Perhaps a gimmick makeover would benefit Reks.

I think Reks does need a makeover, but I think more of it had to do with Ryder. I can't help but think that turning him babyface would be a great decision. You could feel the crowd wanting to get behind him. I can't help but bet sigh everytime I see THD against Cryme Tyme, but who else are they going to face? Other than that I can't really complain, like you said if you caught it ok, if not ehh nothing big.

Kevin,

Is it okay that Swagger, who is supposed to be on a 'winning streak', lost at Bragging Rights? I know he didn't do the job, but regardless of that, do you think it's okay that Swagger is still termed as having a 'winning streak' gimmick even with that loss?

I mean, Kozlov had the same thing going for him (until he got fed to HBK for his push to the stars w/ 'Taker) but I never liked the idea that the WWE doesn't count it as a 'loss' on someone's record if their team doesn't win. That just doesn't make much sense to me.

RESPONSE FROM KE: SInce Swagger didn't lose in a singles match, I don't have a problem with them saying his streak is still going.

Why is the WWE making The Hart Dynasty look so lousy? This is a team people could get behind as a great villian team and WWE has them almost constantly losing to Cryme Tyme, a team I just can't feel anything for, they're a bathroom break team to me

Cryme time to me is just trying too hard. The WWE needs some fine performers of African American heritage, but all they have is Mark Henry (who for some reason never really shines, even though he's friggin' huge and looks as mean as anybody can in the ring), R-Truth who I really like because of his abilities, but sooner or later that entrance song has to go, and then Cryme Time.

The whole hip-hop thing they have going just seems so unnatural and I loved it when Morrison and Miz brought up the fact that they are from rich suburbs and not the street and they basically owned the "flowers" on their own game. To me, that really killed Cryme Time's thunder.

I've got no problem with them as wrestlers and they work pretty well together, but I think they need a makeover. Can JTG stop saying "yo" 50 million times please?

The Hart Dynasty does need to stop bing jobbers. Too much talent.

WWE super-star is so interesing and with full of joy.In that all wwe superstars are taking participate and they make fight will full engryness.
