Jeff Hardy arrested on drug trafficking charges
Jeff Hardy has been arrested on charges of trafficking in controlled prescription pills and possession of anabolic steriods, according to a report on thepilot.com.
A search of Hardy’s home in Cameron, N.C., yielded significant quantities of Vicodin and Soma prescription pills, anabolic steroids and a residual amount of cocaine. He was charged with felony trafficking in opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance, felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $125,000.
It goes without saying that these are serious charges and Hardy would be facing jail time if convicted.
WWE brass has to be feeling incredibly fortunate that this did not occur a few weeks ago. Hardy, who recently let his WWE contract run out and worked his last match on Aug. 25, was involved in a months-long story line in which his past violations of the company’s drug policy were a focal point. He was portrayed as the free-spirited babyface, while the heel -- CM Punk -- preached that everyone should “just say no." How bad would that have looked for WWE if Hardy got arrested in the middle of that? As it is, while it didn't happen on WWE's watch, it still makes the company look bad to some degree that someone who up until recently was one of its biggest stars is facing these charges.
Hardy reportedly left WWE on very good terms, and it was considered a given that he would return at some point. Since his second Wellness Program violation in March 2008, Hardy repeatedly tested clean.
Hardy has been commenting about his arrest on his Twitter account. He wrote: “A lot of exaggerations are out there today, don’t believe everything you read 4 it is not true, I am at home and fine-thanks for your concern.” About a half hour later, he wrote: “The media is the media, I wish they would at least report the story correctly & accurately. I will make a statement later.”

This is very unfortunate in terms of a very talented performer who keeps making illegal mistakes and may pay big time for it this time. Even if he somehow tries explains that all of these were not his...they were still in his home and he needs to be responsible and choose friends better....and i wouldn't believe that excuse either.

You have got to be kidding me.

'Ya know Kev , when Hardy was about to go on hiatus here recently , I thought it would be the thing to do , and take the high (no pun intended) road and keep my mouth shut despite what I was biting my tongue to say .
Well my thoughts have come to fruition . I could easily boast "I told you so" ( this would happen ) .
This guy is in denial and hopefully one of these times the help he is offered will stick .
I'd hate to see him become another Jake Roberts .

Makes you wonder who was the informant?
Punk?
Vince?

So does Jeff Hardy selling drugs make CM Punk a face now?
As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with Jeff Hardy. I know he's innocent until proven guilty, but they found COCAINE IN HIS HOUSE. Even if he wasn't doing any of it, we still HAD IT IN HIS HOUSE. He's a stupid loser and it's time for him to just go away for good.
Jeff Hardy broke kayfabe by having drugs in his house.

.... my rant continues ....... as insensitive as it may sound Kevin , at what point do you stop feeling sorry for this guy ?
Who among us would not like to have his fame , $$$ , etc .?
Who among us has not had experienced family strife, death of loved ones , loss of job , etc. , etc . and NOT chosen to take the easy way out w / drugs ?
I'm tired of feeling sorry for this guy , Why is it always spun that he's the "victim" ? How many chances does he get in life ? And frankly , because of his status in life , he is awarded chances that the average Joe would not recieve !
Sorry for the rant Kevin . I'm angry , I'm done .

I hope this is some big mix-up... but I doubt it. This may be the end of Jeff's career on any "major" wrestling stage. I just hope it doesn't somehow ending up implicated other people (including Matt Hardy) and dragging more people down. At least the legendary TLC matches will live on forever on my VCR.

Cant wait to hear his statement. If everything is true, makes u wonder how he past all his drug test since WM24.

really jeff? your sober? yeah ok wtf is wrong with you , even though what Punk said was scripted ......hes so right. your messed up! like really messed up. you need serious help. you just disappointed all your fans family friends and youself. damn Jeff , just when i thought Punk was wrong when he said you a druggy , you do something pathetic. good job.

Sure Jeff, its the media's fault that you are gizmoed out of your mind.
Posted by: Elevation | September 11, 2009 7:05 PM
His career is over. He could never come back to the (PG) WWE and have any credibility. Distribution is looked at far more harsh than possession or just the use of illegal drugs. Bright side for Jeff, this may just be up MTV or VH1's alley. Those channels love reality tv like this, and he was looking at doing something like that anyway. (May be a train wreck waiting to happen however)It is sad to hear this though, I was actually looking forward to WHEN he would return.
Posted by: Gwen | September 11, 2009 7:20 PM
Kevin,
As a wresting guru you had to see this train wreck coming. My sons asked me why Jeff was not coming back. I told them all along that Jeff was taking time off to do drugs and remake himself with steroids. It wasn't like he was going to work for TNA. This way he did not have to worry about the WWE wellness program. All of the other wrestlers take time off to get their bodies healed but do not leave the company. This is simialr to Barry Bonds and Sammy Sosa who sat out for a long time. I always believed they sat out so that the steroids could not be detected.
Let's face it Jeff Hardy is a drug addict. His love for drugs is stronger than his love for wrestling.

Hey Kevin, really enjoy the blog; I try to check back here on Tuesdays and Fridays to get your take on the weekly action. Just wanted to let you know the report or Hardy is on thepilot.com, not the site you mention.
RESPONSE FROM KE: Fixed it. Thanks.
Posted by: Beast44 | September 11, 2009 7:52 PM
A pro wrestler caught with steroids? What's the world coming to? Next thing you know, Cheech and/or Chong will be caught with a joint.
But thank goodness the WWE didn't get any egg on its face. It would be a shame if the good name of professional wrestling was dragged through the mud because of this unfortunate incident. Thankfully, the sport will be spared humiliation and maintain its reputation as a moral pillar of American society.

Last night, we were complaining about the John Morrison-Dolph Ziggler match having been pulled from the Breaking Point card. This Hardy situation is far more problematic.

my jaw droped when i heard this....
I'll wait for the statement untill i make my judgement though
Posted by: delliott | September 11, 2009 8:31 PM
I am so tired of this guy. Yeah, he's one hell of a worker, but how stupid do you have to be to blow so many chances. He'll probably never be brought back to WWE now. He's starting to remind me a lot of Scott Hall. When is the article about finding him as the next dead superstar going to surface? It wont be that long in my opinion. Not that I wish that on anyone, but he seems headed down that path.
Posted by: Steve | September 11, 2009 8:44 PM
He is a talented wrestler but I don't know why Jeff continues to put himself in these unfortunate situations. Matt doesn't have these drug related problems like Jeff yet he's always overlooked by creative when it comes to the world title.
Posted by: Frank | September 11, 2009 8:55 PM
Hope its not true. If it is, he's done.
Posted by: Matt | September 11, 2009 9:24 PM
This story may be true, but the media is probably exagerrating. Also jeff wouldn't be the 1st wrestler to use drugs. He is human and can make this sort of mistakes. And it has been an inspiration to see him come back and compete and be a role model to say that you can come back from your mistakes, I hope he can twist his fate and come back from this one and go on with his life either as a wrestler or whatever he has his mind set out to do next.

Beings that this showed up on TMZ, still makes you want to root for the underdog in Jeff. He states its blown out of proportion, so lets see what he says, before you post nonsense about how guilty you think he is.

Jeff Hardy = Lindsay Lohan.

Man, what can I say? That's not just recreational use... that dude is running a freaking pharmacy.
If convicted, I see him doing at least several years in prison.
This young man had his whole future in front of him, now it's gone. And all for what? A few snorts up the nose?
Maybe CM Punk was right about Hardy.
Posted by: Trance | September 12, 2009 2:23 AM
First of all, I agree with the other Chris in that my jaw dropped when I heard this. On the other hand, I can't say I am completely suprised that he relapsed. Having been around people who are genuinely reformed and those who genuinely cannot shake their addictions, I can tell by looking at someone if they are or aren't under the influence. I'm not judging Jeff personally, I am a fan, and I am pulling for him, but watching "The Hardy Show" stuff outside of WWE's realm of production, I could see that "sober" as defined by those in recovery was not what Jeff regarded as "sober." He's a free spirit and while that's great for marketing, it sometimes complicates life,
particularly when you struggle with chemical dependency. It is usually all or nothing when an addict decides to get sober. I am not saying Jeff was high on "The Hardy Show" but he definately was not conveying the "sober as a judge" look or that of someone who is deadly serious about the daily battle of handling their addiction.
Secondly, I'd like to point out that WWE does not come out of this unscathed or looking good at all. Drug abuse is an epidemic everywhere- in everyday life and definately in professional wrestling. The "Wellness Policy" is BS, unfortunately if Vince McMahon had IOC style stringency, he'd have very little talent on his roster and produce an inferior product. The culture in the locker room is the same as it ever was. Perhaps a little more hush-hush with a wink and dealings done behind closed doors, but not unlike baseball was with PED's even after the Players Union and MLB addressed it the first time. It was a token motion that amounted to a slap on the wrist. Until WWE REALLY puts the personal care of it's talent before the show, they will always look bad when these kinds of things come out. This didn't happen overnight and the WWE was the incubator that fostered Jeff Hardy in continuing to live this lifestyle.
He is a great performer and I hope he can get it together for himself and his fans. Whether he returns to the ring or not really is secondary to his well being. None of us want to see another Jake Roberts or ____ _______ (take your pick).
With Jeff's ability, charisma, and love of life, you can only pray he regroups and doesn't end up another tale of how professional wrestling chews guys up and spits them out.
Lao Tzu said, "The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long." There is no doubt Jeff's flame burns brighter than most, let's just all hope he slows his pace a bit and stays around with us in this life for a while. He is way too talented, full of creativity, and charisma not to.
Posted by: ChrisB | September 12, 2009 2:31 AM
Jeff wasn't sellin drugs, the media was tryin to get some heat goin so they could get more ratings, so they can get more money. He doesn't have any drugs on him, he's perfectly clean
Posted by: Maria Pello | September 12, 2009 4:53 AM
Well the irony of this all. Is I have known the Hardy boys my entire life. And when we were in High school they were using , and it is a well know fact around here in town of them selling so nothing new for us to hear that he has all those drugs. Hey Carma will come and bite you in the butt eventually and it did. And he will never serve jail time because here in Moore County the court system is a joke. You walk in there pay the judge off you walk out and it does not have to be big money either. The Good Ole Boy System .
Posted by: Angel | September 12, 2009 7:07 AM
Let's not forget that a distribution charge can be based solely on the amount you have. I don't know exact numbers, but let's say you have 10 pills lying around - that's considered possession. But if you have 11, that's considered intent to distribute. Not that it minimizes what happened, but I don't think it means he's a drug dealer, just that he must have had a lot of stuff in his house and frankly, considering the amount of stuff he's put his body through the last few years, I'd be surprised if he didn't have a bunch of pain medication lying around.
Posted by: Sam | September 12, 2009 7:16 AM
Ok... Something that everyone seems to be forgetting is that his girlfriend lives in the house as well. What was she doing with the drugs? You can't tell me she was living in that house all alone and knew nothing about drugs being in there. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.
Posted by: Kay | September 12, 2009 10:54 AM
Ya know, I agree with the fact that Jeff has to take responsibility for his actions. At the same time, I'm giving in to my own musings...I'm guilty of being too analytical for my own good... So that said in preface, The thought popped into my head that Being that we all KNEW Jeff's history, it didn't help Jeff in terms of all the attention focuses on drugs and all. I'm not saying that this CAUSED his lastest troubles, I'm wondering though that it didn't help prevent it either.
Posted by: Andy | September 12, 2009 11:25 AM
It always struck me that Hardy never denied anything that CM Punk said about him on screen and in fact seemed to accept it as a badge of honor....kayfabe or not.
And people cheered him for it on a show now supposedly marketed to kids.
Shame on WWE, they are accomplices of sort.

i was wondering the exact same thing...!in fact it was the first thing that came to my mind when i read it all..!
i remember the time .it was probably 2002 when i started watching wrestling....the moment i saw jeff hardy...i instantly became his mark!
i hate to admit it...but the quantity of drugs found with him really makes me wonder what is wrong with him..!
would like to see a post from you kevin about what you feel about this incident, its probable consequences that jeff may have to face...etc.....

Oh come on now people maybe he can learn from this..Sorry But wrestling and drug's seem to go hand in hand..Most start taking pain meds for injuries.the it goes from there. Also he is not the only one that has done Cocaine in the business..Not saying it's right.. but just because he got busted does not make him the only one...
Posted by: April | September 12, 2009 4:23 PM
While this is is tragic news to hear, if you look at the details, some of it at least can surely be explained. For one several were prescription for pain, via vicodin or steriods which serve as anti inflammatory medication. The guy puts his body on the line in every single match he has, so how can he not suffer like hell in pain from it? So naturally he has to compensate despite the do gooders and scientologists who think medicating is like sinful or something. I feel that is just poor judgment, if you have pain, a way to alleviate it, its human nature to do so. The amounts might seem extensive to an average reader who may get 10 pills of vicodin or same with steroids for minor issues, but this guys back and whole body is in constant pain no doubt from his exhibition like antics in wrestling. lets not forget the days of Hulk Hogan or the Ultimate Warrior, were they drug free...no..do people still admire them...yes. And even currently so many fans' beloved Rey Mysterio....he is out on suspension, why? Violating the wellness program, aka, use of steroids and other drugs not approved, alleging that he had a prescription but couldnt get it in time. I guess prescriptions dont matter after one is suspended...
My point is, no one is perfect, no one is free from guilt of making poor choices. Does this suck...absolutely. Should Jeff not have had some of these things..definitely not, but he is human, like you or I, has a painful career, and makes his choices. I lose no respect for Jeff, but wish him well.

As for what April said about begining with the pain meds, she's right, It goes like this: Pain Meds for injuries and then habitually for bumps, bruises, wear and tear, etc., it's VERY easy to become dependent on a narcotic painkiller. From there it's something to go to sleep (Valium, Klonopin, Xanax, etc.) and then something to get up (you'll see Cocaine, Amphetemine's in pill form, as well as Methamphetamine). He was charged with trafficking of Opium which is a Schedule III narcotic, less about pain relief and more about euphoric relaxing and sleepiness. When that is your routine daily and you throw in 6 or 8 beers and/or a bottle of Jack Daniels to really get loose, you're living recklessly and putting lots of undue stress on your heart and your whole body. Given Jeff's penchant for sacrificing his body for his craft, it would behoove him to take it easy no matter the degree of truth between the charging documents and the 100% truth as to how much of what he was using.
Jeff had Soma as well, which is a muscle relaxer and although popular with wrestlers in conjuction with other pills, is not a narcotic. He has documented Restless Leg Syndrome, and while I do not know what is prescribed for it, it could be construed that a muscle relaxer would provide relief. Jeff must not have had a current/valid prescription for them to be charged.
Also, depending on when they broke in to the business and their physical make-up, alot of guys [allegedly] used steroids of some sort or another from the beginning (Hogan), to go from a 200lb performer to a muscular 220lb performer (Mysterio), or to heal from an injury (Batista). When you have that sort of demand, someone is going to supply. The idea of a friend that knows a guy or a specific Dr to talk to, means he doesnt have to meet some shady drug dealer. It ends up turning a guy who would help out all of his friends if he could, a guy presumably like Jeff Hardy into a drug dealer. I won't condemn any of his friends, but I will say this- the one's he has kept closest remain fringe guys and wrestle independently. Does that make them guilty? Certainly not. But it does kind of harken back to the idea of the 4-A Baseball player who just needs that little extra something to get over the hump. It's all a damn shame if you ask me because Jeff is a phenomonal performer and an inspirational, infectious, magnetic personality.

man i am a big fan of you jeff, and to find out this is like man i cant believe how much everybody looks up to famous people and it seems like on tv they are so nice and sweet and then in real life they are drug addicts, whats that saying for hollywood? i mean i know that life gets hard but doing drugs aint going to solve anything plus your famous whats so bad about that, you can have whatever you want when ever you want it, i know papparazi sucks and stuff but still being loved by millions and making money becuz the love me and want to see me, would not make me do drugs, i just dont get it , these famous people think their life is hard they need to look around this world today and put someone like me shoes on. i'm unemployed and live in the ghetto and have 4 kids who need a better life, im on food stamps, life sucks but i would never stoop as low as to do cocaine. sorry jeff but i think you might lose lots of fans on this one.

Posted by: Anonymous | September 12, 2009 10:37 PM
For goodness sake people......he had 260 Vicodin......and 180 Soma. That is NOT excessive. People who live with chronic pain often have three months worth of mediation perscribed at one time..... If you take them as perscribed, one pill 3-4 times a day, that is 90-120 pills PER MONTH. Which makes it 270 pills per 3 month refill for the Vicodin, which, BTW, is NOT a very strong pain reliever. Give the guy a break....he's put his body on the line, damaged himself and given his body hell for OUR ENTERTAINMENT for OVER TEN YEARS.
And FYI, just because someone is CHARGED with a crime, doesn't mean they are guilty, or even that the police THINK they are guilty. It's NOT uncommon for a person to be charged with something to give the police and DA leverage.........

I'm drug free, alcohol free, and better than you, Jeff.
Any jeff supporter is clueless. You can try and justify the painkillers (Why does he need 2 different kinds in such large amounts) but you can't write off the opium, cocaine, and roids.
Jeff has always been a no-talent hack,. now he's just a no-talent hack who's going to jail.

I'm broken hearted. So broken hearted. Not only for Jeff, but for all you A##Holes who have never, nor ever will deal with addiction. Yes, I am a religious watcher of WWE, but I am also a recovering addict, and I am here to tell you that sometimes it is not a CHOICE as most of you believe. Your body shuts down without the drugs. Now be it the fact that he had to use painkillers to "entertain" you, that is none of your concern, right? Believe me, most people addicted to painkillers got them legitamatley. Think of all those TLC matches you loved so well!!! Even I am guilty of saying No, not Jeff. But the truth is S%^t happens, get over it. And never judge a man unless you walk a mile in his moccosins...

So what if Jeff has issues! Everyone has issues. People need to stop acting so innocent! I am not saying this because I have been a Jeff Hardy fan for over 10 years, or because I live in North Carolina and know that the reporters here are worse than most when it comes to over exageration. But how would police know to search Jeff's house for these so-called drugs? He is a professional athlete! I know everyone commenting on this post has seen this wonderful man in action, and know damn well he lays his body on the line every time! He's gotta be in pain sometimes. What do you use if pain is severe enough??? The pain pills they found in his home...duh!!! Has anyone else ever been perscribed pills and never taken all that were perscribed to them? I know I have! Am I a criminal for holding on to any old meds?! I hope not. I wish people would stop commenting on things they don't know the whole story for. I have been in love with Jeff Hardy since the very first time I saw him wrestle over 10 years ago. I DO NOT like hearing you people speak ill of this charismatic enigma! SO STOP!

I'm sure that he had drugs in his house. I'm just not sure if he was the one dealing them. I mean I think Jeff would take the fall for Beth if she was the one doing them. He has been clean for a long time and they have been doing even more drug tests ever since Jeff's little mishap a year and a half ago...that's all I have to say about this...we will see....

Get the facts, people. 2 herniated discs in his back and lingering neck injuries require some serious pain relief. Tylenol won't cut it. Yes, they found cocaine. But there wasn't enough there to warrant a charge of possession with intent to sell. They found "residual powder cocaine", not ten five-kilo packages. THAT would have warranted charges! And how do we know the cocaine was Jeff's anyway? Could have been left behind by one of his friends.
Just my two cents... But Matt said it best when he Tweeted "As Public Enemy says "Don't Believe The Hype"!"

There have been times where I would eat fire to keep from hurting! Then let's talk about sleepless nights! What would you do if you hadn't slept for a week from pain? Yeah, like I thought!!(Just about anything) jeff, you will always have friends from where I come from in S.C.there are people who will stand behind you & all other people who have similar problems!! Come on people, its all in the wording, look at his history of drug abuse. how in the hell can anyone, much less the Police say intent to sell."depends on how it is packaged" I use to eat FN percocets like a fat kid eats cake. I use to have atleast 40-50 pills at a time, if I had more money like he does I am sure at the time I would have had more. but I got so sick from using them like candy I just gave them away and Have not taken any since then and its been 3 years now. I have only met Jeff 2 times I met his brother 3-4 times, with family and friends like Shane Helmes and Shannon Moore, I am sure he will get through this. He has the help available and I hope he uses it. Best of Luck to you Jeff and I know you are reading these or someone is telling you what is being said. people who know me by my name I use will know who I am. those who dont I am David Linkous aka David Webb.

Why does this not surprise me? I used to be a fan of his, but I don't want to support this loser anymore. I can understand maybe going through it once, learning from it, and coming out stronger, but he is not even helping himself. He openly admitted he never went to rehab cause he didn't need to. Well I'm pretty sure now it's obvious he does need to. He has so many fans that love and support him, and he let them all down. Including myself.

Some of the talk about he's bad because he had so many pills.
Last year I had a herniated disc, followed by surgery, and I am still in constant pain, AND, I can tell you that I have a number of medicines, including morphine-based.
One type, I get 240 tablets each prescription.
The list does not stop there.
Then there's the effect of these pills, that leave you feeling lethargic all day.
All the old wrestlers have used 'roids - Hogan, Ult Warrior, Ravishing Rick, and I am sure the list goes on (Batista, Mark Morgan) and we applaud some of these people as our heros, so we can not become indignant now, feigning shock and horror.
But, and there is a but - "trafficking in opium".
If that's true, then his life of physical pain and abuse, and mental torture, may have tipped him over to the dark side.
Ultimately, let's let the judicial system, and those in possession of the facts, make the final determination in law, before we crucify him in private.

Everyone makes mistakes and its hard to comment on something like this and be judgmental in regards to bad decision making. People make bad decisions that reflect on their own lives as well as others, pro wrestlers are no different though as fans we expect them to act a certain way and have flawless ethics and a straight moral compass all the time even though in our own lives we have a little more leeway in regards to the above. In the end we all have to answer to one person and that is ourselves and I feel Jeff Hardy needs to do a lot of soul searching and work out why he is making questionable decisions and find out what the right decisions are for his life to progress successfully.

Jeff, are you stupid? Cocaine and steroids in your house? You deny their not yours then why are they in your house? You were probably were so stoned you probably didn't realized the cops were there. As a fan sometimes you are an idiot. Even I agree with CM Punk, I will never do drugs for anything. You probably won't get your career back so oh well. I love you so much but sometimes you disappoint me. Sorry to say this, but I hate Beth. She stutters a lot.

Maybe his girlfriend (you never know, anymore). I hope that Jeff gets clean. I wanna see him as champion again, be it WWE, TNA, or wherever he goes. Thanks, Jeff, for all you've done for us.

I will stand beside Jeff, though I live in the mountains of n.c. now, I will alway's believe in Jeff. I do hope to see him again on wrestling, and if not, well then I wish him all the best, and I will miss seeing him. A friend in passing, buffy jo.

First off, who told the police Jeff ha drugs, because they ha to know they cant just go into your house and look if they dint have proof an a search warrant. I'm a Jeff Fan so I'll be waiting for the statement he makes. Also we are all human so we make mistakes and Jeff isnt the first WWE Superstar to use drugs and he certantly wont be the last. I really hope he has a good life and hope to see him in the ring at least one last time.
Posted by: HardyFan | October 4, 2009 1:26 PM
No one should judge you and you'll always be a fantastic wrestler. Just b/c someone gets into something like this doesn't mean everything that has made them great gets overwritten. Know things will turn out fine and I'll pray that it does. Good Luck & God bless and CM Punk sucks.
Posted by: Haileyjones5@aol.com | October 4, 2009 2:02 PM
you hipicritical A*#@%#@s.. Like none of you have EVER messed up in your lives. Who are you to judge someone and something you know very little about .If you believe everything you read go back to your history that proves you can only believe half of what you see and none of what u read/hear. If Jeff has a problem maybe someone should step back and look at all the issues/injuries that have been sustained over the years... and by more people that just Jeff.Just cause his story leaked out(if its true)i'm sure hes not alone. Being a young (disabled but not down!!!) female with severe pain issues maybe i have a better more open view and better judgement than to condemn someone on finding some pain meds around a house.. or "reminants" of a drug that anyone could have had. Till you find yourself in the spotlight for everyone to pick apart your life, be it bad or good , maybe you people need to realize there are things that happen to great people that a simple news story can't explain or comprehend. Try focusing on the unbeleiveable things this man has done ... for the troops...for the art world...for the entertainment business...for many for us. Try supporting him instead of bashing him...cause someday u may be the one needing the support and being met with a boot. So Jeff, keep ur head up. There are those of us out here who will never judge . Consentrate on your health, your art, and your family. The true fans and friends will be here waiting your return.Thank you for re inspiring my own art (and love for wrestling), and remembering to work through the pain to every new accompilshement.

Okay look I understand that alot of fans feel like they been let down by Jeff Hardy's recent behavior. And I'm not posting this to defend his actions because it was wrong and stupid. But, c'mon he's human he's gonna make stupid mistakes and hopefully this latest incident will scare him straight and gets his act together. Now to all you so-called Jeff Hardy fans that are calling him a loser and fake etc. You guys need to back off with your insults I,m 28 yrs old I've been a WWE fan since I was 5 and I know alot of you long time fans can agree with me when I say that this is not the first WWE superstar that has been in trouble with law due to substance possession/abuse or both. And it's not just the WWE Sports that this stuff happens to it happens to all major sports from WWE to the NFL and beyond there's always an athlete that gets caught doing something stupid so there is no reason why people should be looking nor talking down about the WWE. All we can do as fans is hope and pray that these talented athletes can clean up their act so they can go out there and do what they worked so hard to succeed in. Now to Mr.Cm Punk, yes you're a great wrestler and you're freaking hot but, that's it. I think it's great that you're drug and alcohol free but, shut up about it already. You ain't no prophet, you ain't no hero and you're definatley not better than anybody else and The Undertaker prove it this past Sunday. And now to Jeff Hardy I hope you learn from your mistake and i also hope that you're getting some help and getting your life on the right track. We lost you as a wrestler we don't want to loose you as a person all together. Don't let these people and media tear you down. And don't let these so call fans that are posting negative things about you get to you either. If they're saying all this stuff about you after all the great matches you gave us chances are they were never really you're fans to begin with. And you're better off without them. I'm gonna tell you the same thing I wrote to Bret Hart a long time ago when this whole U.S vs. Canada thing was going on with him and lots of fans turned their backs on him.And that is "Your true fans will stick with you no matter what direction you take. When you're on the right path we will be there to support you and if you make a wrong turn we will still be there to help you get back on track instead of letting you get lost." And Jeff you still have alot of loyal fans out there so make us proud once more and get on that right path so we can see you once again in that ring doing what you do best and that's kicking some serious butt and when you get there we'll be there cheering you on after all we freaks stick together.I'm ending this long comment by saying to all the fake Jeff Hardy fans out there and media who are quick to judge other people's lives and I'm gonna quote something Jeff Hardy said to CM Punk a while back before Night of Champions and that is "Everyone has the right to live their life the way they want to. And I'm sorry that we can't all be as perfect as You." JEFF WE MISS YOU AND WE LOVE YOU!-Gaby Obregon

i think he needs help from soma one that realy cares about him, and not just gudge him
Posted by: idk | October 7, 2009 5:06 PM
we should not only care if his hot or not,or what other people say, what we should care about is him about what he has been through, and that every one deserves a chance, may be they gived him one but it was not enough.people is looking at him has another famous guy, learn to think that they have a normal life like u and me and theres hard things that they go through just like normal people,...............and i just want to tell u jeff that any one can do mistakes and if u realy did what this people is saying, it does not matter any more leaved in the past, and become someone better, i know that for me it woul be esay to say because im not the one living it, but u wont win any thing by remembering your errors, you are able to do what you propose to your self, because waning to do is being able to do.
Posted by: mileydi | October 7, 2009 5:26 PM
Mabe all of you who have negative comments need to shut your mouth!!!!!!! none of us are perfrect and if you look at your life and the things that you have done and not pay so much attention to those that are famous you would see not such a pretty picture has been painted there. Mind your own business. the media blows things way out of preportion half the time so who knows what is really true and what isn't. I am just sayin'
Posted by: darcie | October 8, 2009 12:35 AM
We watch WWE for entertainment. not to find a role model or someone to look up to. what they do on their own time is their problem and their business. they owe us nothing and if you have a problem that your hero let you down. then you are dumb for having a CHARACTER as a hero. what next superman gets a DUI and we stop liking him.....how dumb does that sound . Jeff Hardy was a character, have some intelligence and separate the person on TV and the one in real life, the latter we have no right or reason to judge.
Posted by: Jon | October 8, 2009 1:38 AM
Oh please people...Stop judging, He's an awsome wrestler. As far as the prescription drugs, Damb the man is an extremest, Dont you think he probably neded some. and as far as the cocaine, Its his freaking business, and like he said, everything was exagerated, Give him a chance, You either like his wrestling or you don't but leave his personal life outa it...Its none of our damb business. I'm sure all you hipocrits have done something illegal in the past or present. stop judging him for what he does in his own freakin house....

People,people...Let me ask you something.Have you ever tried to imagine WWE without Jeff Hardy?Who will do the amazing neckbraking things?Who will be AN ENIGMA, AN ARTIST?A WHISPER IN THE WIND,A RISK-TAKER,A DARDEVIL?Who jumped on Randy Orton and left you all without breath, and won the prize for THE MOST EXTREME MOMENT?CM Punk maybe?I don`t think so.HE needed a very long time to win the WWE championship, and you realy think that he would throw away all of his hard work, pain and everything that he`s been threw to win it just to take drugs?I don`t.Your judges are based on newspaper and TV.How many times did they lie to us?Even if he did take some drugs, wich I doubt,It would be just HIS another mistake.WE shouldn`t judge him,we should help him to survive this.TO JEFF:Jo mate,I don`t know the truth, but I want you to know this I BELIEVE IN YOU.YOU ARE MY FALLEN ANGEL,BUT I KNOW THAT YOU WILL RISE AGAIN.RISE YOUR SWORD HIGH AND TAKE WHAT BELONGS TO YOU.YOU ARE OUR MISTAKE,AND WE ARE YOURS.I SUPPORT YOU,I LOVE YOU AND I RESPECT EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE DONE IN YOUR CAREER.RISE LIKE A PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES AND BE THE BEST ONCE AGAIN NOW WHEN EVERYONE GAVE UP ON YOU,BUT WHEN YOUR MISTAKES BELIEVE IN YOU.

Posted by: Crystal Morris | October 11, 2009 6:53 PM
I say I hope he gets his life together, maybe start over doing something else.
I've worked in the medical field 35 years, have seen almost every type of addiction imaginable from drivers of fast machines, alcoholics, drug addicts, food, sex fiends and religious zealots. They all were addicted to something, many in denial many cured, some relapsed, some died.
Now the 'clean', addicts of cell phone and texting are almost as bad as coffe drinkers, tobacco smokers and chewers.
Maybe C.M. Punks addiction is adrenalin from wrestling battles.
Greed is overlooked by almost everybody.
Well anyway, I've personally known addicts at work and in the community.
A problem is when they that are detoxed return to their community, they are doubted mistrusted or abandoned by those they hoped would understand and be supportive in their return to the 'clean & sober' society.
Addiction is a day to day recovery.
Sometimes when Chris Jericho says there are hipocrits in the audiance'-he is correct.
Those who condemn Jeff are probably living a lie, many are only hiding an addiction they refuse to address.
Stay strong Jeff and enjoy the simple things of life.
I've seen you on ur bike and hope to ride with you one day.

I'm curious as to why all these people aren't getting as p----- at the doctors and pharmaceutical companies. I don't think that Jeff actually made the pain pills inside his house. What about all the doctors who prescribed these drugs to him in the beginning?

This is very sad to hear, Jeff is one of my favorite superstars, so talented in what he does. Even if there is any truth in this, I believe that he can move forth no matter the setback. Jeff, if you read this know that you are human and entitled to mistakes, you can rise above any failure, any setback, any accusation, anything, you are good at what you do!!!!! God used many messed up people in the Bible, He let them go through many things so that He could bring them out, He refined them by the fire. you know i have done a lot in my life. ive recently got my life interrupted!!!! but i also got a good attorney. i've been paying attention to wwf/ wwe more often and personally when i stopped watching it i was totally into the hardy's matt and jeff. yes the storylines made jeff "more popular" but all the same i loved the hardy's. i went to an art school for hs and jeff i could relate to. hes a great entertainer. after my incident i have grown to a more mature level. no one matures totally. you will go your own path. do your own things but in the end you know who you are. jeff obviously knows that he may have a chance to blow this thing over- get back into the wwe- and win back over vince, the other wrestlers, and the fans. and yes many of you say your dissappointed or let down so be it. just let it be. i have faith he will choose the right path whether it be back into wrestling or his art or something he may discover in the next year. He has got enough dissapointment from the real fam. but they will be there when he needs someone to talk to. he needs his fans to do somewhat the same. peace yall have agood one

Jeff why would you do that. I really really really was your #1 fan. honestly. When you left SmackDown I cried, and cried and cried. i didnt want to see you leave. I have a poster of you and i look at it alot. and i even wrote "I miss you Jeff Hardy" on my white board in my room. To the day i still have it up there. :( We all miss you jeff. Please Come back soon :'(

You want to say that you are done with Jeff; come on the only really reason that the superstars and other famour people make the paper is because the news come look for them to get into trouble.. What about the rest of the world?? NO one is perfect so give him a break. Don't know if I am going to tell my 5 year old why he is in trouble. She stopped watch Friday night because he is not on it anymore.. Good luck Jeff can't wait to see where you will go next.. Hopefully to TNA:)

Jeff, I'm a fan. But we all know that pro wrestlers rely on their fans' support and RESPECT. I may not have all of the facts, but this has happened before and you seem to be trying to be a loser. I actually pitty Matt. Please figure your life out, you mean a lot to the wrestling world.

Everyone needs to have some compassion here...I mean really...how many stars or famous people that kids look up to do drungs...be honest with yourself here...Jeff has his demons and his addictions that he has to come to terms with and try to over come...We all do and I think it is unfortunate that he has problems keeping his drug problems out of the public eye...Jeff will always be a great entertainer no matter how much anyone bashes the personal mistakes he makes...As far as wrestling goes he is my family's favorite superstar and we miss him now that he is doing other things...we honestly don't even watch 98% of the time anymore...I will be sending my prayers out for Jeff and hope that he gets his life straightened out before he ends up being another tragic loss to a world that needs some color...I urge you to do the same...God can turn anyone's life around...Love you Jeff get well my man....

Jeff messed up plain and simple. All you people need to back off the guy, and stop pretending your saints, and are better than him.
I've been a fan of jeff for the last 8 years, the guy is my artistic muse. He needs help and I hope he gets it.
Posted by: Lia Stone | October 30, 2009 10:50 AM
ok i know he has done these in the past and now but to me i think he can get through it and if he cares for his fans like he said then he will quit. i am in love with jeff hardy i got to go to road to wrestlemania and it was amazingly fun. i think he should go to rehab and get done with it.

u know what the media should mind their own business jeff hardy thrilled the wwe with his deadly signature move on raw victim peice of u know randy orton like 20 feet in the air people were crying for god sakes and junk the media
Posted by: kevin lopez | October 31, 2009 9:49 PM
Why can't everyone just leave him alone? I don't care what he did - we only know the CHARACTER Jeff Hardy. He's a real person just like everyone else. We all make mistakes (if he even made one). He's not the freakin president for God's sake - he's a wrestler and who cares what the hell he does in his own free time? Why do people butt their noses in everyone else's business? Unless it personally effects you in some way - mind your own business! I still love Jeff!
Posted by: Amanda | November 2, 2009 1:52 PM
I've always been a fan of Jeff Hardy since the Hardy Boyz days and am glad wwe finally made him big. I've known of his drug issues but that never bothered me too much...can't say it didn't dampen my loyalty to him for just a bit…but he is still a great entertainer. Personally, I think he is the last unique wwe character and everyone else, besides old-school wrestlers (triple h, undertaker, etc), are just generic. I pity all the hypocrites who ranted passionately on him because y’all came off sounding more like “Jeff Hardy-haters” than disliking him for his arrest. Each of you know damn well you’re not 100% innocent in your life. Yea this is tragic to hear, but are you just gonna tell your 10-year-old kid, who has jeff hardy posters and figurines in his/her room, that their hero is a drug-addict? The full story haven’t even been concluded and released yet and judgments are being passed. My point is: if you’re a fan of someone, support him. If not, just say you’re not and don’t take anything you hear and throw them as arrows.
Posted by: Dustin | November 2, 2009 11:55 PM
I know that everyone thinks that jeff is a horrible role model now, but i think that it's because he lost and was kicked out of the wwe that the cops had found the crack up in his house.
Posted by: Bobby | November 4, 2009 2:28 PM
Ben, he is one of the best wretlers ever, but I gots to admit that The undertaker is the most dominant wrestler besides hulk hogan, stone cold, and the rock. dont 4get about ric flair.but seriously, everyone does drugs at least once. like cm punk, he says that he has never done drugs, HA! That's a bunch of bull. now there's a guy that's messed up ya'll.
Posted by: bobby | November 4, 2009 2:47 PM
Everyone who is hating on jeff hardy should just leave him alone because i know that just about everyone commenting on this subject has tried a puff of somethihng, including a cigarrette under the radar.
Posted by: Anonymous | November 5, 2009 2:29 PM
Amanda, i to have been a hardy boyz fan for the past 10 years so i know a lot about each. i even taught my little brother about them both when he was about 5. So we are all hardy boyz fans. i just couldn't stand what matt did to jeff when he made jeff lose his championship to edge. Now there's a guy that should stay out of the wwe forever. especially vicky g. she's a real jerk.
Posted by: Bobby | November 5, 2009 2:34 PM
I THINK.HE WAS SET UP. JEFF HARDY IS A GOOD WRESTLER TO WWE I REALLY HOPE HE COMES BACK TO WWE SOON.HE LOVES HIS FANS. CM PUNK TALKS BAD ABOUT PPL.
JEFF TRY AND WORK ALL THIS. YOU ARE THE BEST.. GET BETTER.AND COME BACK. I THINK THAT IS WHERE YOU BELONG. THE WWE HEAVY CHAMPION.. TAKE CARE.. TERRY
Posted by: terry hampton | November 5, 2009 5:09 PM
Terry, i agree. i also think he was set up by cm punk. i mean seroiusly, it wouldn't suprise me if he did this. seriously i can totally see how badly that cm punk hates him. he's just a player hater. he can't stand the competition of jeff hardy. matt hardy should totally do something about the whole cm punk situation. he should teach him a very hard lesson.
Posted by: Bobby | November 6, 2009 2:52 PM
You know, my boys & I cried when Jeff left. Not because of any other reason but that we enjoy watching Jeff. He's an wonderfully talented wrestler and artist. I was shocked that he 'left' and just didn't take a break like most of them do. I figured something was up, but didn't realize Jeff was in such bad shape. First off, people who don't know, I'm disabled and suffer with 3 incurable disease that cause me to be in chronic pain every minute of everyday, and I take prescription pain killers. I have had more, and stronger pain killers in my house than Jeff did, AND I'M NOT A DRUG DEALER OR ADDICT. I'M IN PAIN, A LOT LIKE JEFF. Now the steroids, well, they could have been there from the past, or someone else's, and the traces of Cocaine could have been anyone's. What I want to know is what did they find 'IN' Jeff? What kind of dope did they find 'IN' him, or was he clean? I am disappointed to say the least, about the steroids and Cocaine, but still love Jeff and pray he gets help if he's still using Cocaine, or abusing his pain meds. But for all y'all to condemn him, and never been his shoes, it's just stupid. If you've never had chronic pain, then you don't know what it takes to ease it. And if you stop and think about it..Jeff had just quit wrestling and traveling. Do you know how hard it is to get scripts filled in different cities, states and countries? So don't you think he'd stock up, to make sure he had what he needed..when he needed it?? I travel on occasion, and you better believe I make sure all my scripts are filled to the max and I have plenty of everything, that way I don't get in so much pain I end up at the hospital. I have Arthritis of the Spine (AS) , Lupus and Fibromyalgia, which with all the Hell Jeff has put his body through, I'm sure his back issues along with the RLS, is just as bad if not worse than mine... So, as far as all this goes, until I hear from Jeff, or till I know he was positive for illegal drugs, I still support him. And miss him something awful. I tell you something else. If this comes out that it was nothing more than the above, I sure would be for sue'n someone for ruining my career, because it will be hard for the WWE to take him back even if there is legit reasons, simply because some of you won't believe it anyway, and have already and will always damn him for reasons you know nothing about.
Posted by: Kelly | November 8, 2009 10:29 AM
Personally I don't believe what these politics say about you Jeff, I'm the only one that believes your words against other people. As long as Matt stays by your side, you won't have nothing to worry about. One other thing is that I hope that they put you back to WWE because everyone misses you so much, even your own brother Matt. Please come back. It sucks without you.
:(

Posted by: max | November 16, 2009 11:46 PM
Hey everyone its bobby again. i know that what jeff supposedly did was fake but i mean seriously, did u see what R-Truth did to CM Punk on Friday night? it was freaking awesome. He poured whiskey, perscription pills, amd cigarettes on him. i especially enjoyed watching him beat him with the garbage can afterwards. CM Punk had it coming to him. But his face was even funnier than the beating itself.

Posted by: Victoria Negron | November 26, 2009 4:39 PM
you know whoever wants to sit and talk all kinds of crap saying they are better then someone else is really the one who is full of it, so what jeff made mistakes and who among us hasent, no matter what anyone says ill still be a jeff hardy fan and wish he was still around the WWE right now, and if jeff was taking pain killers who can blam him hell after some of the falls ive seen him take id be taking them too

Posted by: felicity | November 29, 2009 9:47 PM
I just found out on friday that CM Punk had planted half of the drugs in jeff hardy's house. what i really hated is that in the process, he kicked jeff's new dog. i mean that is just plain cruel. i have 2 dogs and would never hurt an animal.
Posted by: bobby | November 30, 2009 2:32 PM
yo i always knew jeff hardy was a dirtbag and now this proves it really look into a wrestler before you let your kids look up to them
Posted by: elvis whorf | December 2, 2009 11:18 AM
I am a big jeff hardy fan and i think all of you jeff hardy haters to just SHUT UP!!! he is a lot better than cm punk who by the way comes out almost every friday night smackdown and talks about how bad drugs are and says the same things.cm punk knows that when he comes out he is going ti get a "boooo" by the crowd
Posted by: Miguel | December 5, 2009 1:09 AM
First off I would like to say that *if* he is doing drugs then it is not his fault , he is an addict , and that is an illness of the mind. Yes it sucks, but leave the man alone. You wouldn't be this mad if it were John Doe that were busted with dope in their house so chill and let the man have some peace in this time of crisis. Jeff if by some off chance you check these things you have my support man. Get better, take time for yourself. The first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem and then just working on yourself, don't worry about work worry about you. Please Don't end up like Eddie ,May he rest in peace, or any of the other superstars and addicts who have lost their lives. Your fans need you and want you alive. Thank you for taking the time reading this.

I don't care if Jeff does drugs. WE shouldn't be judging him. He's had a rough year. I mean come ON! His house burnt down and he lost his dog in the process. I will always be a Jeff Hardy fan and u can't stop me.
We've all made mistakes. He's not superman and he's not perfect.
He 's just as human as you and me.
Posted by: swanton bomb | December 9, 2009 11:32 AM
first of all... jeff hardy is my inspiration 2 wrestle and i have been a fan since last year. second of all, i stand behind him no mater what happends 2 him, i WOULDN'T like it if anybody, and i mean ANYBODY talks bad about him, anybody doubting jeff hardy, please think 4 a second about what you r saying here.. when you think about it 4 a while, JEFF HARDY will always be one of the finest wrestlers in the industry today, think back to when jeff was in all of those accidents, u will see that it was matt the whole time... but deep down u knew that matt didn't mean it. and jeff forgave him 4 it. and personally, i know that jeff made some mistakes in the past, (including reciently), but when u think of all the good times that THE WHOLE WWE UNIVERSE had with him, everybody might of loved him one way or another evan if u didn't like him at all. what i'm say'n is PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU GUYS R SAY'N HERE, jeff hardy is a great guy in so many ways, and believe me when i say... no matter what happends to him, jeff hardy will get through this no matter what. just wanna say i will always love jeff hardy, and i will be behind him 100% thanks, sam.
Posted by: samantha | December 9, 2009 12:57 PM
Sam u & i r on the same page. like i said b4 punk planted half of the drugs in hardys house so he shouldn't be talking. i mean seriously if u think about it, were do u think that he got all of those drugs from. He has to do drugs and drink and smoke dope. he just hasn't been caught yet. we should all no that he does all of this crap.
Posted by: bobby | December 10, 2009 2:36 PM
I just hope that Jeff that you either come back to either Raw Ecw Smackdown or Tna Because i miss the Chrismatic enigma.
Posted by: JMohr | December 10, 2009 5:11 PM
Punk planted half the drugs in Hardy's house and attacked Jeff's dog in the process? That like totally makes sense. Like totally.
And people say kayfabe is dead. I don't know that people bought into storylines this much BEFORE wrestling came clean, so to speak.
Posted by: Anonymous | December 11, 2009 3:43 AM
It's true, he did attack his dog and planted half of the drugs in the house. That just proves how bad the police are at investigating these days, seriously.
Posted by: bobby | December 12, 2009 6:02 PM
All of this drug stuff is not real.. i mean give my uncle a chance of life u guys never give him a break which is some bs! jeff is not on steriods or anything like that i mean his size would be way bigger.. i know that someone made this up because they cant spell right and its somebody that hates jeff.. i luv ya uncle jeff.. hey beth!

Posted by: Tyler | December 20, 2009 5:42 PM
Alright!! jeff is an awesome person coming from someone who has met him several times and actually sat and spent time with him. none of you have the right to say the negative things your saying about him. you are going off of what you have heard. and what does it matter if he or didnt have drugs. that doesnt make a person who they are. and hes not a loser!! hes very intelligent and many of us love him. real fans dont abandon jeff because of this slight situation. and he has had it rough and i will be there for him. because thats what friends do. and maybe you guys should grow up! and think if it were you in his situation. because i know you would want the people who say care about you to be around and not back stab you. but maybe thats the difference between you and i. i actually care and have sympathy for him.

I really hope that Jeff doesn't leave the WWE. He's really good at wrestling, and he's really popular with all the fans including me. I'm a huge fan. I kinda did figure that this would happen though. He did get in trouble two years ago for something like this, and I kinda thought this would happen. Not that I lost faith in the guy. You could ask anyone in my family if I like jeff hardy, and they would tell you how much I love the guy.
So I hope that all is well in the Hardy family right now and if Jeff hardy ever reads this (which I highly doubt), come back to the WWE!!!! All your fans miss you and want you to come back kick CM Punk's ass!!!!!!!!
Posted by: Courtney | December 26, 2009 8:23 PM

Everyone needs to get over it Jeff is human just like every one else and with his job comes injurys...anyone who can do his job as well as he does it has to have something for pain...and most of what they found is given to some one with injurys...The cocain is different but who the hell has not done one type of drug or another...He just got caught there are many stars out there that dont....You are still the man to beat and i wish people would not judge others...Clean up around your own steps and you will be pretty dam busy...Leave him alone till you walked a mile in his shoes...

Wow. I am so shocked. I love Jeff Hardy. He is one of my favorite wrestler. I miss every Friday night that i do not get to see a swann tive dive. I knew that he had a drug problem but i never knew that it was or rather that serious. I guess that u never really know someone until they do something out of the ordinary. Maybe he was depressed and needed drugs as a escape. Thinking about how he was going to go back to what he loves. I will never give up on Jeff Hardy and i wish him nothing but the best and a better life. We love you Jeff Hardy on behalf of me and the wwe universe.

Jeff hardy is probally going threw hard times and he did what he did. But that does not mean he is a bad person, and if u think Jeff Hardy is a bad person forget u,becuase he is going threw hard times like everybody else. Jeffry Nero Hardy will always be my #1 favorite wrestler, and he is really a nice person.
