Quick hits on WWE Superstars
• Since WWE Superstars made its debut four months, there has been some good wrestling on the program, but very little story line development. On Thursday night’s episode, however, the main event was a match that had implications for next month’s Breaking Point pay-per-view, as Dolph Ziggler, Finlay and Mike Knox met in a triple threat match to determine the new Intercontinental champion. OK, technically it was to determine who would face IC champion Rey Mysterio at Breaking Point, but we all know Mysterio is going to disappear for 30 days beginning Wednesday. Ziggler winning the triple threat was pretty much a given, but this was an entertaining match nonetheless and all three guys looked good.
• Jack Swagger and Primo had a nice match. Primo is a good worker, but he is missing that “it” factor that the stars have. It looks as if his role will be, for lack of a better term, “jobber to the stars.” He’ll score some near falls and it will be an exciting match, but ultimately he will lose in the end.
• After Swagger’s victory, he announced that he was making Kofi Kingston’s U.S. title his main goal. So that makes Swagger, The Miz and Carlito all gunning for the title. I think it’s great that WWE finally is making an effort to increase the prestige of U.S., Intercontinental and tag team titles.
• I’m enjoying the Paul Burchill-Hurricane program. It’s always a pleasant surprise when Burchill wins a match.
• At least The Hurricane was not referred to as Hurricane Helms this week.

Comments
Out of Swagger, Miz, Carlito, and Kingston, Miz is the last man whom I want to be the U.S. champion, yet I have a sinking feeling that he is the next in line. I doubt that WWE let Miz work a program with John Cena (albeit a program in which he never won) just to have him fail in his bid for the U.S title.

My take on Primo differs slightly. He's a young guy with quite a bit of talent, and can flawlessly execute a wide variety of different moves. But, IMO, he still hasn't learned how to work properly, how to really make a match flow so that it looks natural and "real." His matches don't tell a story, but rather are just a progression of impressively executed maneuvers. But he's still young, and I think he can continue to improve. He'll never be a top-drawer star, but I cn see him in programs for the lesser belts.
I was surprised by Swagger's comments after his win. They seemed directly aimed at Miz, and maybe it's just me but what he sid came off as quite personal, in a legitimate way.

Kev i would have to disagree with you on Primo I like watching him wrestle i just think he is booked wrong i find him way more exciting then his brother. I would love to see the U.S Title get more recognition but hopefully it stays around Kofi's waist but i have a feeling that Swagger is gonna win so here is to hoping that MVP stops that from happening and let those 2 continue their feud.

Superstars is getting better each week but swagge/primo was ok but swagger still is missing something in his wrestling. Miz comming back with new attitude is ok but like carlio will probable get one shot then be buried he isn't championship materlial. As for the triple we know ziggler will win and like to see knoxx or finlay to challenge him....ziggler still needs more time in ring to be a great champion.
