« Matt Hardy's injury status | Main | Best part of Raw was not the star-studded main event »

No, Edge is not a quick healer

For those who have asked how Edge could wrestle tonight on Raw with a torn Archilles tendon, it's because Raw is not live this week. The show was taped last Monday. Edge suffered the injury at a house show last Friday.

Edge will also be on Friday's episode of Smackdown, which was taped last Tuesday.

I'm surprised there were that many people who didn't know Raw was taped. Not just because spoilers have been available for the last several days but because, watching Raw right now, the show is clearly taking place in the same arena as last week's show. Props to Lilian Garcia, though, as it looks like she changed outfits between tapings to hide the two-Raws-on-the-same-night deal.

Also, this coming Friday's SD was taped last Wednesday. This PAST Friday's SD was taped last Tuesday.

I hope Edge gets better soon. His absence will definitely be felt if he's not kept on TV in a non-wrestling role.

Eck, thanks for clearing that up. I am usually a "Smart fan" but I had a brain cramp moment as I didn't know Raw was taped.

Why was it taped? To give the guys a few days off over the holiday?

how can you find out what shows will be shown on TV?

RESPONSE FROM KE: Not sure I understand the question.

Good to know. Any comments on RAW last night?

Guest appearance by the Million Dollar Man without Virgil?

RESPONSE FROM KE: Comments forthcoming.

"PED's."

the reason Raw was taped this week is because the roster is in Australia doing house shows...

I want to take my kids to a WWE show that will be shown on TV. How do I know what shows will be broadcast on TV? Clicking "Live Events" on WWE.com shows all shows.

RESPONSE FROM KE: Typically Raw is live on Mondays and Smackdown is taped on Tuesdays.
