Ring Posts on Twitter

I know the entire wrestling word has been anxiously awaiting this day. That’s right, you can now follow Ring Posts on Twitter.

Yep, the man who still tapes shows on a VCR and listens to music on a portable CD player has tapped out to Twitter. I have been nudged into the 21st century – in regard to social networking, at least – by some co-workers who keep telling me that everybody is tweeting.

I think “tweeting” is the correct term. Or is it “twittering?” I don’t know, but I do hear that you can go blind from too much twittering.

Oh, the address is www.twitter.com/ringposts.

Will you be "tweeting" your thoughts concerning shows live? Or is just a general use twitter page?

RESPONSE FROM KE: Not sure yet. When I have the opportunity to tweet (man, that sounds weird) during a live show, I will. I watch the TV shows a lot on tape.

Not to be a smartass, but typically when people say they're on twitter they tell you the address. www.twitter.com/bnlpmc is a fine example. :)

RESPONSE FROM KE: OK, smartass, it's on there now. Just kidding. Thanks for alerting to me what should have been obvious.

Kevin,

I believe that I just saw a pig fly.

Now I'll have to go onto twitter now to follow your updates. I hope you're happy...

PS - Do you have URL yet?

RESPONSE FROM KE: www.twitter.com/ringposts

So it's okay to call you a twit Kev ?
I consider myself pretty computer savy , but I don't get whole twitter "thing".

Huh, now I feel like a jerk for my comment yesterday......

The opening segment (of RAW) was a total waste of time. It was petty, childish, pointless, immature, and served no purpose whatsoever.

C'mon, Vince, that's what Twitter is for!

BTW, I've read the term "Twitterverse" on CNN.com a few times over the past week. And you thought tweeting sounded weird!

OMG Kevin, I love this blog and read it at least 3 times a week but man you lose some points here bro, whats next MySpace? FaceBook? I think your column is the best out there because it keeps a little "old School" feel to it.
Will obviously continue to read but I gotta say its your first blog I didnt want to read.

I knew I could break you.

Kev, don't feel bad. Up until about a month ago, I still used a VCR to record wrestling. The only reason that I don't now is because the buttons on the vrc remote don't work and I can no longer set it...so DVR it is.

Just thought I'd share that with you.

I'm not a Twitter fan either, but I'm not sure a blog can really be considered "old school," BigNinked. In any case, as long as Ring Posts isn't moving entirely to Twitter, then I don't see the harm. People who want to follow his Twitter will, and the rest of us will read here.

RESPONSE FROM KE: Ring Posts isn't going anywhere -- unless you know something I don't know.

I got caught twittering once.....my ma told me that was disgusting and to cut that stuff out and put my pants back on.......

Uncle Bill,
You're not MY Uncle Bill, that always wants me to sit on his lap, even at age 33, are you?

At least i'm not the only one who still uses a VCR and CD player lol

Kevin , enough of this twitting or tweeting ( whatever ! ) .Like someone else said , is a My Space page next ?
Ask yourself Kevin , would legendary Sun journalist H.L Mencken have twittered ?
Stick to the "manly" meat and potatoes blog :)

Just don't go converting your VHS copy of Supertowns on the Superstaion to DVD!

Yeah I sucked into twitter too. I will definately follow you, Thanks.
