Stacy Keibler to host Preakness Infield event
With ZZ Top headlining the Preakness Infieldfest at Pimlico Race Course next month, it's only fitting that the former WWE diva who once used "Legs" as her entrance music should host the event.
Rosedale native Stacy Keibler was announced as the "celebrity host" for the festivities, which take place prior to the running of the Preakness on May 16. She will be introducing the performers and interacting with the crowd, according to a news release issued by The Maryland Jockey Club.
Stacy will probably feel like she's back in WWE when she looks out in the infield and sees all the brawls and half-naked women.
In addition to ZZ Top, Buckcherry and Baltimore's own Charm City Devils (fronted by John Allen, my old classmate at Dundalk High and Holabird Junior High) will be playing.

Who cares?? What has she done since wrestling....a couple of small bits here and there. Don't want to be rude Kev, I love the blog, but you are the only one who talks about her....I think we can move on.
RESPONSE FROM KE: If you're not a fan of hers, fair enough. But she is from Baltimore and the home of this blog is baltimoresun.com. There is interest in her here. And there is interest in her beyond Baltimore, as well. She was just on the cover of Maxim about six months ago. More wrestling fans have followed her career since leaving the business than you realize.

Ah yes, the Freakness is coming. And Stacy is coming too. I wouldn't go to this event for all the warm, flat draft beer Pimlico has (rumor says they still have some stuff left over from Memorial Stadium). I'll stay home and watch it on TV, where the wings will be hot, the beer will be cold, and I can still bet on it on my comp. If Stacy wants to drop by after, I'll move my car to make way for her limo in my driveway.

Did you ever notice when someone says, "I don't mean to be rude", it is exactly what they mean to do?
Yeah, the cover of Maxim, like no guy reads that!
Baltimore girl, Towson grad, Ravens cheerleader, oh and absolutely gorgeous, and the nicest hot girl I have ever met (3 occasions)I wonder why the people at the preakness would want her there?
Maybe they should go get Brittany Spears to be there? At least people are still "talking" about her.

That's great to hear that she'll be going home. Just two questions - will this be televisied? and do you think you may be able to interview her as you did last July for the Cal Ripken World Series?
RESPONSE FROM KE: Not sure about TV, but I don't think so. I don't know yet how long she's in town for. If she has time for an interview, we'll do one.

Not gonna be like that this year, those days are over. Until beer is allowed from outside again infield attendance will be slashed in half as it should be.
Screw the maryland jockeys club. Bunch of old guys making desicions that effect the interest of young people, so of course they do something stupid.

Stacy is a HOTT local girl and i am looking forward to seeing her. Can't believe some people can be so rude. Be thankful we still have the preakness to go to. Don't know how much longer it will be around. Can't beleive John Allen is still around. I still listen every now and then to his old Child's Play stuff. Looking forward to the event.
