Matt Hardy’s injury

WWE.com is reporting that Matt Hardy suffered a broken right hand during the match with his brother, Jeff Hardy, at Sunday night’s Backlash pay-per-view.

Matt will be required to wear a cast, according to the Web site. The story did not address how much time he would miss, but wrestlingobserver.com reported that the early estimation is four to six weeks.

Presuming the injury is not a work, the timing is unfortunate for Matt, who is coming off the most high profile program of his career and seemed to be slotted as the No. 3 heel on Raw behind Randy Orton and The Big Show.

I called that last night! When Jeff duct taped Matt's hand's together and started to tie him up with that rope my buddy asked "What's he doing?"
I said "He's about to break his brother's arm!" He had it tied in such a werid way, I didn't think that would end well for him.

I thought the same thing Andre. I was looking at how his hand was tied up, the right one I believe...

I knew it was going to get broken if Jeff jumped onto him and I bet he landed right onto it when he "leg dropped"/sat on him.

It's looking like a kayfabe injury after tonight's RAW.

you have to know it hurt jeff but all the things matt has did to jeff

matt hardy totally deserved what jeff did to him.i am sorry that jeff didn't break his other arm too!

jeff is a good athlete than mattand matt knows that he is nothing before jeff

To some of the previous posters, its a fake fight! They still live next door to each other and talk. Its a tv show...
But it could be actually broken. Could not. The cast did look a little funny on tv, as if it was fake. I've had and seen lots of casts on arms and it didn't look very convincing.
