Live WrestleMania XXV blog: Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy

In an extreme rules match, Matt, wearing his new Hollywood Hogan-like tights, scored the biggest victory of his career after hitting a Twist of Fate on Jeff with Jeff 's neck in a chair in about 13 minutes.

It was the spotfest we all expected, but I'm surprised it didn't go at least 20 minutes. Because it didn't go longer, I would say it was good but not great. Since this feud is far from over, perhaps the ensuing matches will be given more time.

i cryed when jeff lost it was so stupit and my sis's b-day was today my day was bad!!

I expected more. I expected more spots. The bump Jeff took on his ass was sick. The twist-of-fate on the chair was even sicker. I hope the future holds the match I expected tonight.

pretty decent match I thought

They really needed to give this match more time.

Honestly, this is where I was hoping for the "big swerve". The true attacker of Jeff comes out and helps Matt win.

I am glad Matt has his own logo, look and persona now, and he deserved a clean victory, but this match left a lot to be desired.

Its OK to cry Julie. I am sure Kevin wept like a baby when HBK lost.

This match did not deliver at all. Not to mention it was no where near as good as Bret vs. Owen 15 years ago.

What the hell.Matt beat jeff. This is rong

The Twist of Fate on the chair was horrific. That really, really looked like it hurt! I thought the fight was awesome. They totally nailed each other!

I was shock when JEFF HARDY lost

Those tights make Matt look much more legit, hope they're permanent, about time.
Your original concerns were right Kev, not enough time, though I think we'll see plenty more from them in the future.

I was so mad that Matt had to win I wanted to beat him up so badly. But my boyfriend helped me through it.

This was a good match.I think this was the right call having matt get the win. This fued is far from over .I hope wwe finds a way to strecth this thing to summerslam for a hell in the cell . I can picture a swanton bomb off the top of the cell on to matt on the announcers table.

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Sarah

matt hardy is so gay
GO JEFF BEAT HIM UP

I didn't get to watch the match but I am FURIOUS that Jeff lost. But no matter what Matt does, I will never respect him again because of the utter betrayal in what he did to Jeff...his own brother. Anyone that betrays blood is a coward, reguardless of how many matches he wins or how many threats he makes. Jeff will get him back, I know it and I hope everyone else does too. This is far from over and I hope Jeff humiliates him AND hurts him bad when he does get him back.
