Live WrestleMania XXV blog: JBL vs. Rey Mysterio
Mysterio was wearing a mask that I think was supposed to make him look like The Joker, but it looked more like Doink The Clown to me.
Mysterio won the Intercontinental title after a quick flurry of offense in 21 seconds. JBL announced after the match was he was quitting.
So much for JBL going out on top.

So do you have any idea what's going on with JBL? Is he injured? Is this an attempt to push Rey back into World title contention? What's the story?

Another letdown. I expected a match and I don't know exactly how JBL made history at WM. Quitting? Big whoop. If this is truly it for JBL, what a lame way to go out.
Did Rey dye his hair? It looked like he had green hair.

Thank the gods JBL is quitting. I am so tired of his I'm better than you attitude. I admit he is a great heel and the storyline with HBK was good, but very frustrating. It was very hard to believe Shawn Miahcaels needed money so bad that he would stoop to working for the heel like JBL. I think there are better heels in the business right now that will shine through and make better story lines.

I kinda love that JBL sold WWE on this idea in the first place!! The ego reflected in this booking is disgusting, but I am glad WWE respects JBL for what he's done for the company to go along with it.
Now their RAW match makes sense since this one was on time's chopping block (unless it was slated to be that short from the beginning).

As soon as JBL started talking about how he'd win easily and it would be a decisive victory I knew Rey would win.
I was stoked since in my bets with my mates I did Rey out of loyalty and they all had JBL! Yay!

Squash matches just should not be done at PPV's, especially WM25.
While I'm not upset about not seeing JBL anymore, I love watch Rey Mysterio and he is one of the most entertaing wrestlers today. They should have had the match go at least 15 minutes and have that stupid diva battle royal as a dark match. Sorry to be politically incorrect, but what a waste of time. Espcially since Morrison and R-Truth didn't even get put on the card.
