Hulk Hogan comments on O.J. remark

A representative of Hulk Hogan clarified Hogan’s remark to Rolling Stone that he could relate to O.J. Simpson.

In regard to Hogan's comment about his divorce that he "could have turned everything into a crime scene, like O.J., cutting everybody's throat," the rep told ETonline.com that “Hulk in no way condones the O.J. situation. As part of a larger conversation, he referred to it to exemplify his frustration with his own situation.”

Whatever. Hogan also used the “larger conversation” defense on Larry King’s show last year in an attempt to explain his insensitive comments during a taped conversation between him and his son Nick while the latter was serving time for felony reckless driving.

I get it that Hogan is incredibly angry seeing, as he told Rolling Stone, “a 19-year-old boy driving your Escalade, sleeping in your bed, with your wife,” but it still sounds as if he is saying that his wife would deserve it if he went off the deep end and killed her.

Hogan had to say something in response to the negative publicity he has received over the O.J. comment, but, really, there is nothing he can say to make this situation better.

Here's some unsolicited advice: Hulk, lie low for a while and stop granting interviews.

Hogan is Hulk-tarded.

Linda looks ridiculously good for her age. Sure she's no doubt taking all kinds of anti aging stuff, but it's obviously working!

RESPONSE FROM KE: Sorry, dude, had to delete your link to the Linda pic. Linking to porn sites is a no-no.

HOGAN DOES NOT TO CLARIFY OR APOLOGIZE FOR ANYTHING...FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS A BEAUTIFUL THING! Plus it's just another example of media-induced hype to bring more attention to 'the media'. Bottom-line: Hogan is flatout saying HE COULD HAVE DONE THAT...that doesn't mean he said he would get away with it...or that it was the right thing to do...he could have 'snapped' over theis slut's actions and RUINED HIS OWN FUTURE but he didn't!

Not to get on my high horse here, but it is frustrating to see a child hood hero and THE mega babyface of the 1980's turn out to be white trash.

Kevin,

If you had the opportunity to interview Hulk Hogan what sort of questions would you ask?

RESPONSE FROM KE: I'm pretty sure I won't get another interview with him at this point. They wouldn't be softballs that's for sure.

I've lived in the same community as the Bollea's for 20 years, attended the same church, and have had my children go through the same educational functions as theirs at the same time. I've also been through the same marriage dissolution process in the exact same legal environment.

I can tell you first-hand that the only thing this man is guilty of is an incorrect reference to a villified (rightfully so) personality, and nothing more.

All of you naysayers have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

The frustration level of dealing with "the system" and an estranged spouse that clearly has no regard for financial or emotional reality, let alone ANY sense of propriety or decorum (and dare I say respect for her CHILDREN) is despicable. Her behavior is, and has been, a disgrace, yet she gets a pass. Go figure..

I do not advocate physical violence, yet she deserves no wiggle room as "the innocent wife" since she IS NOT.

RESPONSE FROM KE: I think Linda's behavior is ridiculous as well. And Hulk is entitled to his feelings. But he has to be smarter than to reference O.J. in an interview.

Brian's got it right. Hulk is just a passionate guy and likes to speak his mind. When can we start throwing some of these TMZ people in jail? Now, that's harassment.

To Brian B post above

Freedom of speech does not allow for someone to yell "fire" in a crowded theater.

Same morons who held up "we hate Mark Texiara" signs in Baltimore. Heckling is one thing, hate is another.

So go watch your Faces of Death VHS tapes you classless loser

Um, but OJ was found innocent, so no harm, no foul?

RESPONSE FROM KE: Actually he was found "not guilty." there is a distinction. and he was ruled to be responsible for the deaths in the civil trial.

Bobby 'The Brain" Heenan tried to end Hulkamania throwing his 'endless carousel of heels' against Hulk in the 80's and to no avail. Not Bundy, not Studd, not Mr. Perfect, and not even Andre could get it done. It seems now Hulk is his own worst enemy. His 80's Hulkamania demandments of 'training, prayers, and vitamins', seem ridiculous at this point. I wonder how "Hulk Junior" Paul 'Mr.Wonderful' Orndorff and 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper feel now.
I knew I was rooting for these 'bad guys' for some reason.

Kevin , an impressive display of legalese . Can we come to you for legal advice ?

As Chris Rock said, "I’m not saying O.J. should have killed her. But I understand." Granted it was in a stand-up, entertainment capacity, but no one crucified Rock. But I understand, it's fashionable to crucify Hogan when he's trying to gin up some interest in his name. String him up!

michael deff, YOU ARE A STUPID JACKASS. HOGAN SAID HE WAS ONLY FEELING LIKE OJ SIMPSON, NOT THAT HE WOULD ACTUALLY KILL HIS WIFE

Hulk totally screwed up when he made the comment about OJ Simpsons horrible act of murder. He needs to think before he speaks. But we all have said things in the moment of anger that you would never do. On "Hogan Knows Best" Linda was totally rude to Hulk every chance she had and would flirt with any male she got in contact with. Anyone can be desirable to someone if you are supporting a person 2+ times your own age. If you think about it we all would be upset if we risked our life and limb every night to earn the big bucks and you see the mother/father of your children with your sons childhood friend driving around in your vehicles and living in your house.
