Backlash viewing party
For those in the Baltimore area looking for a place to watch WWE's Backlash pay-per-view, Loafers Bar and Grill in Catonsville will be hosting a viewing party Sunday.
I haven't been out to watch a pay-per-view in years, so I just may show up.
There is a $5 cover charge. For more information, call 410-719-2121.

Kevin, do you know of a good resource to find local viewing parties for WWE PPVs across the country? I live in New Orleans; I have tried searching through google but come up with nothing.
RESPONSE FROM KE: I'm at a loss. Sorry.

Kev,
Thanks for providing info on where to go to watch the pay per views locally!
I'm sure a lot of other people appreciate it as well and will show up to help support establishments that provide this service to their wrestling-fan customers!

Do any movie theatres in America show WWE pay-per-views? Here in Canada, I am seeing Backlash tomorrow at my local cineplex.
In regard to Ireland getting Backlash for free, I was going to post something about Finaly being a powerful man behind the scenes, but everyone's probably thought of that already.

If I remember correctly, Great Britain gets PPVs for free on Sky Sports, so maybe Ireland is like that as well. I don't why it's that way, maybe it's the only way the WWE could get broadcast overseas.

The UK gets roughly every other PPV for 'free', the rest are chargeable. So far this year we have had to pay for Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, but No Way Out and Backlash were/are 'free'.
The reason I put free in quotation marks is that they are on a subscription channel (Sky Sports), which is something you pay a monthly fee for in addition to the standard satellite/cable subscription charges. It's the same channel that Raw, Smackdown and ECW are on.
Obviously you don't just get wrestling on Sky Sports, so I get my value from also watching association football, NFL, golf, tennis and other random sports if I can't find anything else interesting on the tv.
