TNA stars coming to Baltimore
Two of TNA’s most entertaining wrestlers — “Tennessee Cowboy” James Storm and ODB — will make appearances at the Maryland Championship Wrestling show on May 4 at North Point Plaza in Dundalk.
Also appearing on the MCW show is Joey Matthews (formerly known as Joey Mercury in WWE). The show starts at 7:30 p.m. For more information, go to marylandwrestling.com.
The MCW show is one of three live wrestling events in the Baltimore area in an eight-day span. WWE’s Backlash pay-per-view takes place Sunday at 1st Mariner Arena (it’s sold out), and the Eastern Wrestling Alliance has a free show on May 3 at 1 p.m. at Michael’s Eight Avenue in Glen Burnie. Go to ewamaryland.com for more information.

Oh why couldn't that be Traci Brooks instead of ODB .

Kevin, off the top of your head, are you aware of any sports bars that usually show the PPV's for those who dont have tix?
RESPONSE FROM KEVIN ECK: I don't anymore. A bunch of them used to, like Bill Bateman's in Towson and Padonia Stadion.

I was surprised by how fast the tickets to Backlash sold out. I tried to get tickets on the day they went on sale and there were no good seats left.
RESPONSE FROM KEVIN ECK: That's what people don't understand. When ratings slip a little everyone thinks WWE is in trouble. Ticket sales are very good.

If anybody gets a chance, you should go check out MCW. The talent they have actually puts on a good show. There won't be a lot of people, but the crowd that does show up makes the show worth it.
