Matt Hardy blogs about Jeff’s tragedy
Matt Hardy posted a blog on his myspace site about the fire at his brother’s house last week that claimed all of Jeff Hardy’s possessions as well as his dog’s life.
As has been reported previously, it was Matt — whose house is close to Jeff’s — who first discovered the fire. It is both compelling and heartbreaking to read Matt’s first-person account of how everything transpired and the effect it has had on Jeff and his girlfriend, Beth.
Being a dog lover myself, the loss of Jeff’s pet especially hits home. To say Jeff has had a rough time recently would be a gross understatement, but he is very lucky to have his brother there to support him.

God, after what has happened to Jeff with his suspension, and being cut out of Wrestlemania. This is terrible, and after reading Matt's blog, it was scary to heck for him too!!! I will be sending Jeff and Matt anything I can to help them. Give my sorries to Jeff's girl and prayers to his dog. I'm sooooooooooooooo SORRY!!!!!!!

Oh my god!!! When I first heard about it I was crying and kept on thinking I hope Jeff and Beth and Jeff's dog Jack is ok. After being a dog lover for all my life I just want to say I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry

When I was at the mall, i called my cousin to ask her if i should buy a John Cena Shirt when she told me that Jeff's house was on fire, I was shocked when she told me his dog died.Im Sorry!

I am soooo sorry about your dog Jeff, and I know you are strong and you will overcome all of the drama going on in your life right now. My prayers go out to you and your girlfriend Beth. My son says he knows you will become WWE champion one day.

I was soooo shocked when I read the Hardy house fire on WWE.COM. My prayers go out to Jeff, especially during his hard times. I was soooo sad when I read that his dog died, I know how it feels to lose a beloved dog.But I know that Jeff is a strong strong human being, I just wish I can help in some kind of way!!!! I know that he'll get through this.Jeff shouldn't give up!!!! I believe in him and I know all of his awesome Hardy fans, including me have faith in him.I just hope that he reads this comment.

I am sorry about your house Jeff and I am also sorry to stop paying attetion to any updates in the WWE so I just found out about you house.Plus I know how you feel my puppy Brady (who is male) got hit by a car. Plus I just got a divorce with my wife and are now living with my brother Bradian. Well until I find a home.

it passed a couple of months from the fire,but I still feel the same. I AM VERY SORRY ABOUT YOUR DOG,JEFF! I KNOW THAT YOU ARE STRONG,AND THAT YOU WILL CONTINUE WITH YOUR LIFE. THERE'S A LOT PEOPLE WHO BELLIVES IN YOU,DON'T LET US DOWN! WE ALL LOVE YOU.

When I first heard this I was crying and praying that everything will be alright. On SMACKDOWN! 7/25/08 MVP was reminding him of everything. I would love to help Jeff and his girlfriend in the time of need. All Jeff Hardy fans cheer for him, pray for him, he's alright I'm sorry to hear about his wonderful dog Jack. Life will be alright. MVP makes everybody sick!

jeff babe i know exactly what u are going through. i had a whenny dog named little bit that died halloween of last year. i have also had my house burn down three times. i am so sorry. at least u have beth to keep u strong i had no one. i am here for u and praying day and night for ur safety. i love u and want u to be happy. but stay srong for me ok, and tell mvp to kiss ur butt cuz u are the best babe!!!, i really am sorry about jack, he was adorable, but babe i have seen u over come all kinds of stuff so i know u will get through this. and i will do everything in my power to help, love u!!! keep ur head up champ!
