Bobby Lashley released from WWE?
Former ECW champion Bobby Lashley supposedly posted an announcement on his official Web site stating that he has been released from WWE.
I say “supposedly” because there is no way to be certain that this actually was written by Lashley, even though it was posted on his “official” site. If you look at the forums on bobbylashleyonline.com, there are now several people posting there claiming to be “the real Bobby Lashley.”
A WWE spokesman told me that he has heard nothing about Lashley being released, and his bio still is up on WWE’s Web site.
Lashley has been out of action since last July with a shoulder injury. Prior to that, he had been getting a major push, including participating in the heavily hyped Vince McMahon-Donald Trump angle at WrestleMania 23.
Despite WWE getting behind him, Lashley has never connected with the audience at the level WWE had been hoping for. His freakish physique also has been scrutinized in light of steroids and drug testing in pro wrestling making headlines.
A few months ago, Kristal Marshall, who reportedly is dating Lashley, was released by WWE despite being involved in a major story line on Smackdown.
If Lashley has indeed been released, there’s a possibility that he would follow the same path as Brock Lesnar, whom he has often been compared to, and embark on an MMA career. In an interview I conducted with Lashley last March, he said that he would be doing MMA if he hadn’t gone into pro wrestling.

WWE probably had one look at how thin he is since he quit the juice and wanted nothing to do with him.
He is a horrendous mic worker and a walking BALCO advertisement.

If this is a 'work', then also im guaranteeing that Lashley wont go over. But if Lashley himself took this decision, then all the ebst to him. "But why" seems to be the key question. This guy was always the intended Trump card (no pun) in the new crop of superstars of cena/orton/hardy. *** hmmm....Mr. STephanie didnt like him???****

Dont go dissin bobby lashley .That man was the future of WWE. he reminds me a little of a former WWE champ ...hmmm whats his name ? Oh thats right ... BATISTA
whats the difference?... not a lot.
physique is the same, mic work is the same. the only difference is is that bobby lashley is younger and better :)
i really hope that this is NOT true as bobby lashley is one of the best young superstarts WWE has!

I think Bobby should stay on WWE, he is one of only few powerhouses left in this business like- Batista, Cena, HHH, Kane and Snitsky. Me and my firends like him and thought he was going to win the title at the Bash. if Iwas Vince I'd keep him!!!

I think that Bobby Lashley wont be the first superstar to leave WWE or TNA to become involved with MMA. I believe this will become a trend due to Congress and the steriod conterversey. This would be a excellent way for any superstar to get out before they get caught, take a little break, then start training for MMA where they could come back into a sport were weight classes and the sudden change in there body mass can be contributed to the training and less talk about coming of the juice.

this is so stupid. first it was lesnar now its lashley whats wrong with the wwe. these are two superstars that are could have been the future of the wwe but no they got released. And instead the wwe is baseing their company on noname 150lbs wrestler like cm punk and chavo.

In Accordance To Statements From Lashley Himsef , Lashley Was Fed Up & Finished With The WWE Relations & Disgusted At The Current Direction In Which The Industry Was Headed.
Lashley Also Feels Disrespected By The WWE Commission During His Leave & Feels That He & His Girlfriend Were Treated Unfairly , Unjustly & Inappropriately By The WWE. Their Was A Lack Of Communication Between Lashley & Vince McMahon ~ Lashley Had Stated That Vince & The WWE Commission Had No Firms Plans To Get Him Back On TV Or Work Him Back Into The Script Which Frustrated Lashley. Lashley Stated That He Negotiated His Own Release & Stated That He Was Being Released For Circumstances Beyond His Control.

However , The WWE Commission Tells A Different Story. The WWE Commission States That Lashley , Wasn't Openly Willing To Negotiate With The Terms Of His Contract ~ Or Meet With The Terms That He Had Been Given & Refused Those Terms Resulting In His Termination & Releasal From The Industry.

If nobody remembered, Lesnar power tripped and decided to walk out on WWE. Likely that Lashley either wanted to go, or, because of the 'roid issue, negotiated with him to not come back to avoid the issue sparking up more heat.

Wow I didn't know thats dumb he was great in the ring nothing special with the mic but who really is cena is lame hbk and triple h are the best but they are no Rock WWE made a big misq on this one . If I personal owned a new wrestling comapany thats one guy I want, he is the future I promise that who would want Randy Orton's lame no talent one bad move after another butt over Lashley. I bet this is the one thats gonna bite the WWE in the butt.
