What Cal wanted to be when he grew up

Orioles legend Cal Ripken Jr. sat down with Baltimore Sun columnist Peter Schmuck recently for a Q&A leading up to his 50th birthday Tuesday.

Back when the Iron Man was in eighth grade, he wrote an essay for school on what he wanted to be when he grew up. Read Ripken's essay below.
