Final
Manhattan 87, Maryland 84.
In his postgame radio interview, Gary Williams was asked about the first half, and he said, "The way we came into it -'' He paused, and continued, "They outworked us.''
He'll surely have more to say in a few minutes. Stay tuned.
Brief correction: Jeff Xavier did not have five threes in the first half. He did end up with a career high 31 points. And Manhattan did have four players foul out, but still won.

Does anybody else get the feeling that Gary's just about had it? I wouldn't be that surprised if he quits. He is at least another couple of years from running with Duke and NC for an ACC crown. My bet is he steps down.

Step down? How can you even ask or think such a foolish thing? Gary brought us a championship and I will never forget that. The fact is this team was full of players who thought they were stars and didn't play as a team. Gary is a wonderful coach and proves with a team he can beat anyone.
