Terps: Trouble with a capital "T"
These aren't your father's Temple Owls, but nobody expected them to come into Byrd Stadium and score four touchdowns before the Terps had four first downs. Temple had a 28-0 lead with nine minutes to go in the first half, then added a special insult when the Owls stopped the Terps on fourth and short at Temple's 10 yard line.
It has been a team collapse, featuring a sporadic offensive attack, a porous defense and a pair of special teams breakdowns. Other than that, everything is going great.
If you're hoping for a comeback like the one the Terps almost pulled off against West Virginia, don't hold your breath. Temple may not be a Top 25 team, but the Owls can pound the ball in the second half and eat up the clock if the Terps offense finally wakes up.

Suddenly all the chatter about the new uniforms (which are all abhorrent) is so insignificant. Who is heading this team, Kevin Plank or Randy Edsall?
This team has some major deficiencies that will become more exposed as the season goes on.
No one is saying it just yet, but the university may have made a major blunder by giving Friedgen his release.

Pete, i truly believe the terps should worry less about there uniforms and more about playing football. Never seen a terp team get manhandled like this. I think randy might have to go back to the drawing board. All this discipline might be back firing. they beat a miami team minus 8 players , were manhandled by WV until they let down and are beein embarassed by a temple team.Look out for Towson State next week.
