Ravens: How about a little swagger

I'm starting to wonder why the Ravens are giving the Bengals defense so much credit. They've driven into Cincinnati territory twice and partied like it's 1999 when they got into a third and short situation.

I've got to say, when its third and two or three inside the Bengals' 40, what's wrong with trying to pound the ball a couple of times. That third down pass attempt to Willis McGahee into double coverage was a very low-percentage play. I guess I'm more confident in Willis than anybody else, because I think he can get you three yards on two carries.

This isn't the Jets offense. If you keep giving the Bengals the ball, they'll keep moving it and kicking field goals, which may be enough if you don't ramp this Ravens offense up a little bit. Joe Flacco just doesn't look very sharp.

What happened at QB today?
What's going on?

Pete that was just a pitful performance by Joe flacco today. He looked completely lost from the very start of this game. He Can't read defenses at all and constantly throws off his back foot. While that penalty against suggs didn't help matters any this lose falls squarely on flacco's shoulders , he looks like he has regressed terribly and anybody that thinks he is a top flight QB better think again. No confidense, no emotion, and absolutely no leadership qualities, doesn't lend yourself to be a great Qb he has a very long way to go. Just a plain horrible performance, the defense played there hearts out.

Bob's spell check is still broken.

However, his negativity about all things Baltimore sports is not.

Hey anonymous kiss my a$$. You are a complete jerk.

I watched the post-game press conference by Harbaugh and Flacco. Nothing but excuses. We have to play better, we have to execute better. Tell us something we DON'T know. Why aren't we playing and executing better????? Flacco is digressing in his performance, looking more and more like Kyle Boller, and Harbaugh looks lost as well. With all the offensive weapons the Ravens have at their disposal, to score one TD in each of the first 2 games is disgraceful. Now we know why Cameron has been fired at almost every place he has worked. Kiddos to the defense. Unfortunately they cannot score enough points to make up for such an inept offense. Of course, next week against the Browns, the offense will be fine and all will be smiling. But it's the BROWNS!! We need top performances against the better teams as well.

I already said this team isn't playoff much less SB team. Bulger needs to start this was why they got him. flacco is a has been, but not a NFL QB. Can't read defenses and throws off back foot WAY TO MUCH. John do the right thing bench flacco.

Man, how many years have the Ravens been looking for a genuine NFL QB? Everyone thought they had finally found one with Flacco, but he looked beyond pathetic today. The defense manages to pretty much shut down Palmer and the Bengals and the offense does nothing, again.

Flacco:

2008: 80.3 QB rating, 60.0 completion %, 2971 yards, 185.7 yards per game, 14 TD 12 INT
2009: 88.9 QB rating, 63.1 completion %, 3613 yards, 225.8 yards per game, 21 TD 12 INT

Bulger:

2008: 71.4 QB rating, 57.0 completion %, 2720 yards, 181.3 yards per game,11 TD 13 INT
2009: 70.7 QB rating, 56.7 completion %, 1469 yards, 163.2 yards per game, 5 TD 6 INT **9 games**

Yup. Flacco's a has-been, Bulger's not.

Yup. Start Bulger, not Flacco.

I sure hope Harbaugh takes control of this team --- enough of the coach-speak week-after-week. There is no excuse for not replacing Flacco in the 4th quarter -- what did the Ravens go out and get a $3.5M backup for? Tell us, we do pay for all this. Coach, you not the offensive coordinator need to make these kind of decisions. You didn't today. Lastly, Flacco is not so damn cool..... Matt Schaub is cool --497 passing yards and a comeback win.

Oh, and by the way, that’s Mr. Schmuck to you.
