Are you ever going to have an article or q&a with anything of value? This is standard insight that anyone with hardly any knowledge of the O's could provide.

Hey Matt...lighten up!!!!

Two more Latin players of note that were not developed by the Orioles but made notable contributions: Aparacio and Cuellar. I am sure there have been others that could be mentioned as well.

It's nice to see that the organization is at least starting to pay more attention to the Latin market as well as Asia.

Hey Matt, I've been asking Pete a legitimate question for quite a while now. He, like most however, is ducking the question, which disappoints me.

I thought you were pretty tough on Pete, but I have to admit that you're not wrong. There are question that are much more relevant to the state of the O's that the media should be answering and asking.

Not trying to be too mean here fellas, I just read the articles all the time and I always come away disappointed when I am finished. I want to read something with a little substance about the O's and not just some fluff mixed in with no real answers. Nothing of real value here. I am more excited than I ever been in the last 12 years to see if the O's can surprise some people this year and I want updates on where we are at because some us cant be in sunny FLA for spring training and get paid to do it.

I just came back from watching the Marlin/O's game today and would like to beg DT not to bring Wigginton north. I paid $27 for my son to watch his favorite team and then see Wigginton throw his helmet and yell "F**K" at the stands after striking out. Not only did he go Ofor for the day, but the fat little guy botched a pop-up at second and looked feeble at the plate. There has to be a better alternative.

What do you guys want Pete to answer? Do you think he's hiding inside information that only he knows and doesn't want any of us to know? Or are you saying that he is avoiding the tough questions? I thought he answered the questions as honestly and objectively as he could.
I swear to God, Wayne, you just get off on bitching about whatever you can....and good job on training Matt on how to be another pest on here.

DOnt buy from that place. They'll take your money, but not send you the product

Justin,

Don't swear.............

I'm not bitching, am I? I'm just asking relevant questions.

Do you think the O's will start Pie over Reimhold this year. It appears Riemhold is being outplayed in all areas.

About Peter Schmuck
Peter Schmuck wants you to know that, contrary to popular belief, he is more than just a bon vivant, raconteur and collector of blousy flowered shirts. He is a semi-respected journalist who has covered virtually every sport -- except luge, of course – and tackled issues that transcend the mere games people play. If that isn’t enough to qualify him to provide witty, wide-ranging commentary on the sports world ... and the rest of the world, for that matter ... he is an avid reader of history, biography and the classics, as well as a charming blowhard who pops off on both sports and politics on WBAL Radio. That means you can expect a little of everything in The Schmuck Stops Here, but the major focus will be keeping you up to the minute on Baltimore’s major sports teams and themes, whether it’s throwing up the Orioles lineup the minute it’s announced or updating you on the latest sprained ankle in Owings Mills. Oh, and by the way, that’s Mr. Schmuck to you.
