Ravens: Ready to rumble?

I'm going to walk around the parking lot trying to mooch tailgate food for the next hour or so, but I'll be here all day, spouting whatever comes to mind during today's game between the Ravens and Colts.

If you want go get an early start, you can go check out today's column in the print edition and on the Web site. I don't think the Ravens have much margin for error left, but that isn't exactly a revelation at this point.

Right now, I think it would help a lot if Peyton Manning got some bad sausage at the team hotel this morning.

Peter,

How can we acquire tailgating tickets, or is this something for PSL holders?

Pete's reply: I just wander around the parking lot. You don't need a ticket for that.

Why do us Raven fans in York PA have to get the Steelers game every time the Ravens and Steelers play in the same time slot? I want to see the Ravens play the undefeated Colts, not the Steelers romp over the lowly Chiefs. I’m 40 miles from Baltimore and can’t see the home team game?
Thank you Comcast for not giving us a CBS station in Baltimore. The one in Harrisburg caters to the Steelers.

oldman--Well, the one saving grace is that at least you got to see the Steelers NOT romp over the lowly Chiefs.

Ravens, Steelers, Bengals, and Browns all lose.

Barry-- How about that. Stuff happens or something like that.

About Peter Schmuck
Peter Schmuck wants you to know that, contrary to popular belief, he is more than just a bon vivant, raconteur and collector of blousy flowered shirts. He is a semi-respected journalist who has covered virtually every sport -- except luge, of course – and tackled issues that transcend the mere games people play. If that isn’t enough to qualify him to provide witty, wide-ranging commentary on the sports world ... and the rest of the world, for that matter ... he is an avid reader of history, biography and the classics, as well as a charming blowhard who pops off on both sports and politics on WBAL Radio. That means you can expect a little of everything in The Schmuck Stops Here, but the major focus will be keeping you up to the minute on Baltimore’s major sports teams and themes, whether it’s throwing up the Orioles lineup the minute it’s announced or updating you on the latest sprained ankle in Owings Mills. Oh, and by the way, that’s Mr. Schmuck to you.
