Ravens: Can't win like this

The interception that Joe Flacco just threw at the New England 8 yard line was the fourth serious mistake the Ravens have made in the first half. No way to sugarcoat that. The Patriots are too good to beat on the road making a couple of key mistakes in a game, much less a handful like that.

There was an obvious miscommunication on the play, since Mark Clayton turned into the end zone on the pump and Flacco threw the ball to the sideline, where Patriots defender Leigh Bodden made a fine play to grab the ball and stay in bounds. That mistake cost the Ravens at least three points. The other three gaffes each contributed to a Patriots score.

Not good.

I replayed that interception 10 times on my DVR. His right foot stepped out of bounce right on the sideline before he dragged the left foot

Peter,
I hope you aren't counting the TWO BS roughing the passer penalties that resulted in TWO TDS, 14 of the Pats' 17 points, as Ravens' mistakes. You can chalk that one up to overeager referees, or to a competition committee too far down the slippery slope of "protecting the quarterback."

When 14 points in an important game are directly attributable to these calls, neither of which seemed to even include any real contact, that's not the team's mistake- that's the NFL.

You can't win without a big threat receiver downfield. Where are all those who say we don't need a Brandon Marshall or Anquan Boldin? We don't have any receivers that can get open.

i just have to vent on this one...
kool-aid, we have mason, hugely underrated, still a top notch receiver (although next year i expect him to retire)
as for the 2, weve had clayton for a long time, waiting for him to breakout. personally, i knew he was destined to be mediocre a couple years ago, but that drop was the last straw, washington looks a hell of a lot better than him
all bias aside, i dont know about that pick, but i agreed with the call, but the one thing i have to say is the penalty on suggs for grazing bradys knee. he DOVE, since when can you stop yourself mid-dive? and he dove right when or right before brady threw it. i understand you need to protect the qb, but if that was a pats lb grazing flacco, there would unquestionably have been no call

WAAAHHHHHHHH WAH WAH WAH WAH

Why didn't the network show a close up of that foot on the line on interception and 33 roll over and the ball rolled on the ground but it is a catch . The resf should have worn Patriot jerseys
