The Week in Review

Join me, Scotty Donahoo and Clarence Mitchell IV for "The Week in Review" at noon on WBAL (1090 AM). Promises to be another crazy show, so you won't want to miss it. Nobody ever knows what Scotty is going to say and I'm never quite sure what I'm going to say either.

I've got a pretty good idea what C4 is going to say, and we'll slam dunk him for three solid hours.

If you're outside of radio range, go to WBAL.com and click on the Listen Live icon.

Nothing appeared in the Mets "Game Notes" concerning their loss to the O's on Wednesday night--do you think they wrote anything about the Thursday night loss as they headed for Tampa Bay?

Scott Donahoo is on the radio now?

Oh my...

Pete,

If the White Sox fall out of contention you think talks may surface regarding a Floyd for Mora and Huff?

...........................................................................................
Pete's reply: Not for Mora. He's got a total no-trade clause. And if the White Sox are out of it, why would they try to acquire an older hitter for a young pitcher?

Hey Milwaukee O's Fan,
Mora would never accept a trade to Chicago, so he's out of the equation. Furthermore, if the Sox fall out of contention they certainly are not going to trade for a 2 month rental like Aubrey Huff.

What the heck is Scott Donohoo doing on the radio? That's pathetic. What is WBAL's Program Director's email?

About Peter Schmuck
Peter Schmuck wants you to know that, contrary to popular belief, he is more than just a bon vivant, raconteur and collector of blousy flowered shirts. He is a semi-respected journalist who has covered virtually every sport -- except luge, of course – and tackled issues that transcend the mere games people play. If that isn’t enough to qualify him to provide witty, wide-ranging commentary on the sports world ... and the rest of the world, for that matter ... he is an avid reader of history, biography and the classics, as well as a charming blowhard who pops off on both sports and politics on WBAL Radio. That means you can expect a little of everything in The Schmuck Stops Here, but the major focus will be keeping you up to the minute on Baltimore’s major sports teams and themes, whether it’s throwing up the Orioles lineup the minute it’s announced or updating you on the latest sprained ankle in Owings Mills. Oh, and by the way, that’s Mr. Schmuck to you.
