Orioles: The next-to-last Alfredo Simon update?
Manager Dave Trembley said a few minutes ago that pitcher Alfredo Simon has cleared up his visa issues and is due to land in Florida at 5:30 p.m. Depending on how quickly the club can get his physical completed, he could be on the field working out tomorrow.
Newly signed pitcher Adam Eaton also is due in town later today and probably will show up here at some point. His pitching schedule will be determined as soon as he can sit down with pitching coach Rick Kranitz and go over his recent activity.
Eaton, by the way, will wear No. 56, at least for now.

Ugh, that one hurts - as Brian Burres was my favorite Oriole. Wisht he had better success here. Maybe some new mojo will turn that number around for Eaton.

Divide his jersey number by 10 and you have a pretty good over/under number for Eaton's ERA.
I'd probably take the over.

John in Conn and I are definitely in the minority on this one but B.B.was my fav too. I even got a slightly queasy feeling when I saw which number Eaton would be wearing. Nonetheless, I hope Adam has more success here than he did with the reigning World Series Champions.
