Pitcher Mark Hendrickson was scratched from his scheduled appearance today with a sore back. Manager Dave Trembley said Hendrickson estimated he would need a couple of days to rest it. No one was added to the roster of pitchers today to replace him.
"We've got enough pitching,'' Trembley said.
Adam Eaton will throw a bullpen session tomorrow before the coaching staff decides on his exhibition schedule. He hasn't pitched since last Wednesday.

What is going on with all of these pitchers coming up lame? I hope these are minor injuries. If not, I want to question their off season training regiments.

All this talk of pitcher's having ailing backs , and ailing arms , seems to be just shrugged off as no big deal given the fact it's early . If you ask me its not a good sign . just sayin'
